Horrible packaging

I absolutely hate this new packaging. The glue they use to hold the individual packs together is so strong that it tears open the other packs when you try to separate them. Bring back the other packaging!

We continue to reduce our use of foam trays for Member’s Mark meat and poultry products in favor or less material used overall, to minimize our environmental impact. In doing so, we have significantly improved the use, convenience, and storage capabilities of Member’s Mark fresh chicken products. Our newer saddle packages have perforated pouches, to easily use what’s immediately needed, and neatly and efficiently store the rest in the refrigerator or freezer. No need to rewrap and re-package opened chicken, like in the past. We’ve also made sure there are two pieces of chicken breasts per pouch so consumers can more easily calculate the number of packages they’ll need to serve. The chicken breasts were fine. Nothing wrong with chicken. I hate hate hate their new packaging. If you only want 1 or 2, it is taped or glued folded. Hard to explain, but it is a poor design.

Good Chicken but bad butchering

We have eaten this chicken before and like the taste and quality of the chicken. We do recommend that you talk to your butchers as they did not cut up the chicken properly and it was poorly done. That is the reason for the 3 Stars not the taste.

Don’t buy.

The last two times I have purchased this chicken, there were leaks. I had them delivered twice and both times I had to disinfect the rest of my groceries. I tried to call customer service and was on hold for over 25 mins, then the other time after I waited, it was a dead line. I will NEVER buy this again.
