First it did not raise to 12" . Almost 11". The mattress is super soft and it sucks you into it. When you try to get out it bottoms out to the frame. It's the most uncomfortable mattress to sleep on. Sam's should be ashamed to produce this type of product. It's true, you get what you pay for as we thought we would try it out as we bought another brand similar to this and it lasted about 6 years and was very comfortable but that was not the case with this one. Don't waste your time taking this one home because you will be returning it. I hope they let us return it!

I bought this bed because my Orthopedic Mattress was beginning to get too hard for my older body. I had sore shoulders and back. This was delivered to the door in a large box. It's bulky but manageable, I am 65 years old and managed to move to the first floor. Once unpacked it rapidly began to expand. I let it expand for 24 hours. It appears to be about half to one inch short of the 12 inches advertised. I have no experience with foam mattresses so didn't know what to expect from Medium Firm. Turns out it works well. My stiffness is slowly dissipating though it took me a couple of nights to get used to sleeping on a foam mattress. I didn't get the chemical smell some reviewers noted, I still have a pretty sharp sense of smell. After about a week I am pleased with the mattress. It's hard to beat the value of the Members Mark and return guarantee. I took one star off for the actual height being shorter than advertised.

I had such high hopes for this mattress as I am a big time lover of the Members Mark brand.. however, this mattress did not prove its 4.5 star review. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt despite seeing reviews about the mattress only inflating to 10 inches but that has proven true in my case as well. The edges of the mattress remained compressed and the cover fabric was loose due to the lack of foam inflation. Sadly I will be returning this mattress.

We purchased a full-size, firm mattress for our spare room in February. It's now June. I waited to leave a review, so I had plenty of time to try it out. It is definitely not firm. I sleep on it 5 nights a week. It's soft, and your body sinks. It might be firm for a child, but anyone over 100 pounds would not say it's firm. Would not recommend or buy again. .

astronomical mattresses. Definitely choose this one over the new hybrid one. My entire household has these in all sizes. I bought my first one about 5 years ago and it hasn't had any impressions or imperfections. highly recommended. It has significantly reduced my lower back and hip pains. even the dogs love it

Convenient to purchase and quick to set up. Extremely comfortable and has great support for your entire body. Would recommend if you are looking for an inexpensive but high quality mattress that you don't need a pickup to transport. Loved the convenience of the bed in a box and being able to carry it up a narrow staircase.

We hated this ultra plus mattress. It's like molasses for the top 3 inches then hard as a brick underneath, which doesn't work for a side sleeper with hips. Returning this has been a NIGHTMARE, 3.5 weeks of Sam's telling me someone would contact me to pick it up. Finally I get a call from some company I've never heard of and I have to wait another week. They were supposed to pick it up but waited to contact me that day to ask for a picture of the mattress. They finally showed up in some random pickup the next day. It's been 2 days and I still haven't been credited for my return. I've been calling Sam's all day and they keep hanging up on me. I contacted the company that picked the mattress up and they say they emailed Sam's, but Sam's acts completely clueless. Now I'm still fighting to get my money back and I'm absolutely furious because Sam's had a junk removal company pick up the mattress. They'd rather send a brand new mattress to the landfill then let me donate it to charity. We are so done with Sam's, they suck.

Mattress is Comfortable & Supportive for the money. There is better mattresses for more money but this was definitely better than the traditional spring mattress it was going to replace. Motion transfer was better than the spring mattress, but have sleep on better in hotel rooms. I natural sleep hot & this was a hot mattress. My fiancé normally sleeps cold, but she was also hot temperature wise. Already ordered more expensive mattress than has better reviews for cooling & will be returning soon. If it sleep cooler would be keeping.

Purchased for the guest room. I didn't use it myself, but a visiting family member was comfortable and slept well. It's a very thick mattress, so if you use it with a box and a standard bed frame it would be pretty high. I used it with a fold up metal bed frame and a thin mattress pad under it, no box and it was high. Set up was easy for the twin size. I was able to do it alone. The mattress fluffed up fully in a few seconds. I didn't notice any offensive odors, but it wouldn't hurt to let it air out a little before putting the sheets on to let the new foam bed smell dissipate.

**** Full size, Firm **** If you’re looking for a firm mattress, this is not the one to buy. The mattress I received could be considered "medium" at best, which was a major disappointment. Unfortunately, my frustration didn’t end there—it only increased when I tried to return the item. I contacted Sam’s Club to request a return. Given the mattress’s size and that it had expanded after unboxing, I asked them to arrange a pickup. They agreed and scheduled one with AIT delivery service. But after more than three weeks, I’m still waiting for them to confirm a pickup time. During this period, I’ve reached out to Sam’s Club four additional times. Each time, they claimed that AIT had tried to call me, but I hadn’t answered—which isn’t accurate. I made sure to answer every call, and there were no voicemails left, which would have been expected if I missed a call. Sam’s Club also assured me that AIT would contact me by both phone and email, but I haven’t received any emails (I checked my spam folder too). It feels like there is a complete lack of coordination between Sam’s Club and AIT. In my latest conversation with Sam’s Club, they promised AIT would contact me within seven days, but at this point, I don’t have much faith in their word. My takeaway from this experience: Avoid buying any freight item from Sam’s Club. I had a similar issue with a previous Sam’s Club delivery, where a “white glove” item was simply left at my front door. Although they gave me a 10% refund for the inconvenience, I ended up spending more just to bring it inside and set it up.
