Cons: The inner plastic partition can be put on top rack of dishwasher, but I'd recommend only hand washing the outer shell because the silicone will warp. Even with the warping, the box opens and closes easily. Pros: Love the larger portion sizes as compared to other lunch boxes. Love the designs, and the matching back pack is very roomy and has a compartment for the lunch box. Excellent customer service. Will be repurchasing again, with the knowledge of proper cleaning.

We have been using these boxes since my daughter was 2 and in pre-school. She is now 8 and we are just now moving up to the bigger versions of the Bentgo boxes. They have never leaked when closed properly and I love that the trays come out for easy cleaning in the dishwasher. We did have an issue with the plastic piece breaking off where the latch attaches but Bentgo was quick to reply and replace. We are very happy with them and have no problems recommending!

We love our bentgo lunchbox! My 5 year old takes this to school everyday. The compartments are helpful when packing a balanced lunch for her. She loves the fun design on it and gets excited for lunch. The lunchbox is easy for her to open/close. We’ve had no issues with leaks. This is a well-made, durable lunchbox.

My two kids, 2 & 5, love their boxes. It makes for so many less dishes at lunch and they can be completely independent in their eating. They love being able to see all the parts of their lunch. My daughter started kindergarten and is still loving her.

This has been the best bento style lunchbox for my kids. We love our Bentgo boxes! My kids have 2 of these kids boxes and I have a larger one and they have lasted over 2 years. A tip would be to make sure to wash the silicone part on the inside of the box well to keep it clean and smelling fresh.

I bought this lunchbox for my kindergartener in aug 2023. It is now dec 2023 and the lunchbox is very difficult to close, like it is warped or something. I am in contact with customer service, which seems to be more than accommodating when these things happen. Otherwise, I feel this is more for toddlers, not for kids 5+ (unless your kid doesn’t eat). The sections are nice but it’s very difficult to fit a full sandwich. It’s def big enough for a half sandwich. My kid eats so, this doesn’t suit him.

I purchased two of the Bentgo boxes for my daughter (4 years old). She absolutely loves the design of the mermaids. The box provides get sizes for a variety of items for her lunch. The container is easy to open and close, so she does not need assistance from the teachers. I had to contact customer service and the support and quick responses helped answer all questions I had. My initial Bentgo purchase was the brights box which I fell in love with. I was very skeptical the box was truly leak proof and could withstand my two rowdy boys. I pack salsa, spaghetti o's, pork and beans, yogurt, and more and the boxes have never leaked. When my boys open the box at lunch, the items are still in their own compartments and do not leak over. I loved my original boxes so much, I purchased the shark and spaceship prints lunch boxes. I have washed my boxes repeatedly and the print holds up, no fading or chipping. It's the amazing original Bentgo box with a fun print for the kids!
