My 3 yr old brings this box to school 3 times a week where she is in charge of opening and closing it herself. She is usually very careful, but unfortunately after a while, one of the latches broke (I suspect she didn't have it closed all the way and tried to press the latch in place. I contacted Bentgo to check on the warranty and they were immediately so helpful and will be replacing the box with my preference and no hassle whatsoever! Such a nice experience. I also love the portion sizes, how easy it is to clean and how we have never had a leak even after using it with only one latch!

I my 5 kids begged me for what seemed to be the hot item at school this year. So i initially i said no, bc of pricing x5. But after i purchased it was 100 worth it! Keeps my kids foods organized, and adds diversity. Also allows for more healthy eating, and less packaged items. We love the small hole in the middle to add ranch dressing for veggies, or peanut butter for apples. Keeps hot lunches warm, and cold ones cold. Also holds everything in its 5 containers perfectly. Lots of fun styles and colors to give each kid their own personality. Highly recommend.

Why is the pieces on the lid of the cup so incredibly complicated to put together? Are we just not supposed to ever take it apart to properly clean it? It takes 3 adults, a youtube tutorial and 45 mins to put it back together. To the trash that cup goes. Terrible design.

My 9 year old son’s favorite Bentgo is the sharks print. He uses it weekly at school, rotating with our other Bentgos. He likes that this one has the small round compartment for dips, unlike the Bentgo Chill model. The large compartment is perfect for a half sandwich. We are able to fit these snuggly into Pottery Barn classic lunchboxes with thin reusable icepacks for school. We wash the inserts in the dishwasher and hand wash the shells. This lunch box has been the perfect size for preschool and elementary years.

I bought this lunchbox for my kindergartener in aug 2023. It is now dec 2023 and the lunchbox is very difficult to close, like it is warped or something. I am in contact with customer service, which seems to be more than accommodating when these things happen. Otherwise, I feel this is more for toddlers, not for kids 5+ (unless your kid doesn’t eat). The sections are nice but it’s very difficult to fit a full sandwich. It’s def big enough for a half sandwich. My kid eats so, this doesn’t suit him.

I purchased this for my son last year for preschool and he continues to love to use it every day for kindergarten this year. He has had no trouble opening and closing the lunchbox himself. It fits the perfect amount and variety of foods - without leaking! We’ve used it with salad dressing, ketchup, maple syrup…and the items stay in their own compartments. I love being able to fit the main item, condiment, fruit, veggie/crackers and something sweet all in one container. We used to go through so many ziplock bags and little containers each week with my older children. I already purchased one for my nephew as a gift and I’m definitely going to purchase more for my daughter entering preschool next year.

My nieces love their fairies and puppies lunch boxes! They are very cute and good quality. We highly recommend these for school or vacations. when we first found these it was a little hard to decide which one to order... but we found the perfect ones! this was my nieces first day having one of the bentgo boxes so they did not know what to do. now it is going good! the thing i kind of dislike is that when the bigger niece (or both) trys to close their boxes, it is hard because the underneath part is annoying. but the rest is going great! they both love their bentgo boxes!

I purchased two of the Bentgo boxes for my daughter (4 years old). She absolutely loves the design of the mermaids. The box provides get sizes for a variety of items for her lunch. The container is easy to open and close, so she does not need assistance from the teachers. I had to contact customer service and the support and quick responses helped answer all questions I had. Great service and product!

We have 6 of the style bentgos. Most we have had for a year +. Unfortunately our two newer ones have both broken at the tabs (outer shell). After speaking to the company the outer shell shouldn’t be dishwashed, even in the top rack (the symbols imprinted on the outer shell says different). We will continue to buy these just simply for convenience and functionality for school lunches.

My son was gifted this lunch box for his first day of preschool he absolutely loves it and it makes his lunch time more fun and enjoyable not to mention how easy and convenient it is for me as a mother to pack lunch for him in it. He prefers his dinosaur Bentgo lunch box over any other lunchbox sadly his did break but I’ll definitely hands down be purchasing a new one and definitely still be recommending the Bentgo lunch box to all my mommy friends!
