The kids have been using it for their arts and crafts with the most recent project being Easter eggs. I’d recommend this ruler to others.

We use it for cutting fabrics/material and it makes it easier to do when you are marking something small enough that you need to be able to see whats under the ruler.

I use it in my office when I’m trying to review multiple data lines manually. Also great for crafting or using to draw or cut straight lines. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Westcott 12" acrylic ruler is a solid instrument. The ruler is see-through acrylic, an advantage when one is placing the ruler on text that needs to be read as well as measured. One side is inches, and the other is metric, which is convenient. I like it because it is exceptionally light, but durable. It's not easily breakable, an advantage when one uses it as often as I do. The markings are delineated in black, well done to read easily in dim or bright light. One can hold the ruler to the light, and even though the ruler is transparent, the markings are always visible. The markings are divided by 1/16ths, and on the metric side each centimeter is divided into tenths, a proper metric measurement. A nice 12" ruler, graduated with easily readable markings, durable, and with a hold at one end of the ruler to be able to hang it up, is very useful. I recommend it highly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Westcott’s 12” Acrylic Ruler is dazzlingly crystal clear to help me with error-free measuring in both customary inches and in centimeters. The markings are bold and clear and easy to read. The edges are beveled to help draw crisp lines. I need to bring attention to the fact that the zero and 12”/30cm marks are NOT at the ends of the ruler but are rather about 1/4 inch inside of the ends. Helpfully, there is a hanging hole at the zero inch end.
