The plastic material is thicker than most plastic rulers and the material doesn’t feel it would shatter is used too hard nor will it turn yellow with age. The edges are beveled, too. This is great when I use the straight edge to draw lines. I flip it over so the ink doesn’t run under the edge.

The see-through material allows my kids to line up the ruler more accurately with what they are measuring, so it's a good learning tool to help students feel confident quickly. It's also durable and high quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ruler is very easy to use. The beveled edges make it easier to keep the ruler from moving. When used with dry erase markers it's easy to clean off. I was able to use it on construction paper, white board, paper, cardstock, and foam. When used vertically on the wipe board I put some tape on the back and when I did lines holding the ruler it didn't move.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this ruler. I wish I would've gotten it 3 years ago. I do a lot of Iron-on transfers on clothing, wood, cups and mugs. I am able to set the clear ruler directly over the transfer and see the exact center of image and where I need to be centered on the product. It has been saving me a lot of times with less headaches. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
