[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Westcott 12" Transparent Acrylic Ruler is very handy. It is lightweight yet very sturdy. As a teacher, I use rulers quite often and this ruler will be a welcome addition to my classroom. It has numbers that are easy to read and the see through design makes this ruler very beneficial as it helps in lining up edges, etc. properly.

I can use it in the kitchen for measuring pastry dough, my kids can use it for schoolwork to make it easier to see previous data written, and a whole host of other craft and academic activities. I live that it is crystal clear, making it easy to see what Ive done so far and making measurements more accurate. The acrylic is also easy to clean, and relatively durable. Great ruler to have on hand.

I love crafting and this has to be the best cheapest ruler you can get! Very clear to see not the best for patterned paper but will do. If you use 16th of an inch it only has it at the beginning 1st inch and 12th inch.

I have needed a ruler and a yard stick for a long time, always yielding to my husbands comments "Use the measuring tape". I finally just bought what I wanted. This ruler is clear so I can see what I'm cutting or drawing and works just great.

After the kiddos keep taking all my rulers and I could never find one when I needed it I bought some of these. They are inexpensive, thin and clear to be able to align the lines up for a perfectly straight line.
