This has helped me measure for some cards that I was making. I didn't need to keep lifting the paper to make sure I was at where I should be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only use see-through rulers. As a crafter it’s very very handy. This one is great because it’s nice and clear. A good thickness, but still has some flexibility to it. Easy to read as a ruler and has a nice edge for drawing straight lines.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Westcott 12" Transparent Acrylic Ruler is a handy tool for use at home, school, or the office. The acrylic is flexible to a certain degree, but will break if you snap it quickly. The clear acrylic allows you to see what you are measuring to allow for more precise placement of your measurements. This ruler has both inches and centimeters for all your measuring needs. The measurements do not go all the way to the ends of the acrylic giving you a precise location for the zero starting point and a precise location for the 12"/30cm mark. There is about 1/4" of clear acrylic at each end of the ruler. Other rulers I have used do not have this feature. The numbers and marks are printed on the reverse side of the ruler which should make them more durable. Overall, this is a good little tool to have on hand.

I like this ruler because it is sturdy and not as flimsy as the ones I am used to. It is easy to use and wipes clean when I highlight a row. Even though it is stiff, it does not seem like it will break easily. I have dropped it a couple of times and all is good. The edges have not chipped so it will always draw a straight line.

Depending on what you’re using it for it’s nice to be able to see through the plastic. Very helpful. Will use this a lot.
