I absolutely LOVE these. I had two that I purchased originally for myself something like 7 or so years ago, AFAIK when the company had just started. Recently my 3 year old and 1 year old have been going to daycare, and in an effort to make their lunch prep as easy as possible I was looking for the perfect lunch boxes for them. I tried a few other brands, but ended up coming back to the classic Bentgo boxes. So I ordered 2 more, along with some fantastic accessories. I love that these are durable and easy to clean, and they're going to be able to grow with my kiddos's appetites. And they're reasonably priced compared to a lot of other kid lunch boxes. The only thing I would like would be a shorter strap or more convenient solution to using these bentgos with only the lower half. Currently the teachers will send the bentgo boxes back collapsed (but still with some food stuffs), but the strap isn't tight enough when it's like that to keep it closed so some stuff with still leak out into their lunch bags. Luckily we have bentgo lunch bags and those are super easy to clean!

PROS - well made sturdy plastic, nice silverware that snaps in the lid, price of $14.99 for two sets is amazing. CONS- smaller than I had thought and do not like how they don't snap together, its usable but I am afraid they might slip off each other and spill the contents. there is a stretchy strap to go around both but if it got knocked around in a work bag it could possibly spill.

So many colors to choose from. All 5 of us in our family have our own color to avoid confusion at home. We also label straps and the bottom of the bowls and lunch boxes with masking tape to avoid mixups at school or work. The silverware having its own slots reminds the kiddos to remember to put them back after they eat oh yeah and my forgetful husband. This has helped out a lot, it gave me a break from having to continuously purchase throw away utensils and my husband bringing our silverware to work and me having to constantly search online to replenish our fork inventory that matches the rest of our silverware.

Should have read the details more closely. These do not have a tight fitting/spill proof lid and need the band to hold them closed. The band is not adjustable so you can't even close it tighter. Works for things that aren't spillable and as long as your kid doesn't like to swing their lunch bag around willy nilly.

My kids really like these bento boxes. They are definitely "kid-sized," although I suppose it would help an adult with portion control! I wish they were dishwasher-safe and there was a better seal on the containers. My son's pasta salad intermingled with his animal crackers on the top and that got pretty gross. Overall, they are super cute and my kids are excited about them, but I would probably go for a different design or a bigger one for myself.

The Bentgo Classic Lunch Box is perfect for my 8th grade daughter. She loves the pink color and that her food stays separate. The only down side is that the lids do not snap in place. You must use the included sealing strap, otherwise everything will spill.

Perfect size for kids of all ages, even adults. I've had these before and continue to buy more.

Large enough for sandwich or salad and snacks.

Bought as a gift as was requested by our son for Christmas.

Great product. My Kids have been using it since 20 years and apart from rubber band i didn't have to replace anything. Still working and in good shape
