This is a great option for spring and will be for summer so that we can cook meals but not have to run our stovetop or oven and heat up the whole house in the process. It's easy to clean and it really is non-stick. Love that the skillet matches our griddle through dash! So cute!!

I am using my skillet for the first time today to make some sausage and peppers. I have it set on low. The unit heated up very quickly but now is shutting off for about 15 seconds and then coming back on. Is this a feature of the food is too hot or is this malfunctioning?

After 2 months, the light stays on but it doesn't heat. Also, it never did sit level - it rocked a little when stirring food. It didn't heat evenly either. This is a very cheaply made skillet, which is so dissappointing because the size and color were perfect.

this is NOT A SKILLET…. It IS a slow cooker(crockpot) style control— low to high. IF it were a skillet it would have temperature controls. Dont buy this if expecting a normal electric skillet like Presto makes. Im hoping the photos will help people who are expecting a skillet to see the difference. I would have given this 4.5 stars (but alas there's no option to give half-stars). The heating element is not "centralized" but moving the food around helps even out the cooking. Heats up well, I would have PREFERRED if the dial had a Temperature Range instead of Low to High Settings. For example if I wanted to cook something at 325* F, there's no way of knowing what the exact temperature is unless you use a Meat Thermometer! I hope Manufacturers takes HEED - people NEED the Thermostat, not a "well this between here is medium - medium high"! I am a very precise!

The pan was a welcome addition; its rapid heating and generous size are appreciated. After five uses, I am very satisfied, and the accompanying griddle is a useful complement. However, the skillet has malfunctioned, and despite suspecting the probe cord, replacement parts are unavailable. Therefore, I will have to discard it.

like others have said, it does not heat evenly. Nor is it even level. When I put oil in the skillet to heat, it pools on the side closest to the plug. So I have to prop it up with a potholder to get the oil to flow evenly. Plus even on the lowest setting it is way too hot. If you turn it lower, the light goes off. Sometimes if you tweak it, the heat will stay on but other times it just shuts off. So it is very difficult to control a lower temp if wanted. All of these things can be worked around with patience and effort, but one should not have to do that.

Love the size and you can cook about anything in it! Pizza, pasta, cakes, cookies, etc... I love how it doesn't burn my food it's an even steady heat. You can bake, boil, sear, saute, braise, simmer, and scramble. I just got it about 2 weeks ago and I've already used it 7-8 times. Also it's been so easy to clean most of the time you can wipe it right out. It is big but I wanted it that way. You even get an awesome lid and spoon holder with it.

I love electric skillets. This one is huge. Works great and Sam's has the best price for it.
