Overall a real good skillet. It has a lot of surface area to cook all foods evenly. I have had another skillet from Dash in the past few years and it held up well. I have learned that one needs to cook on low to medium only, which is plenty of heat to cook. High is way too much and caused damage to my prior skillet from Dash. The element scorched the nonstick surface. On the brighter side this skillet is a breeze to clean up and store. I would recommend this Dash skillet to family and friends.

I couldn't believe the size of Electric skillet, when I saw it with the discount, I thought it's good price. I didn't paid attention to the size. I'm very happy with it. I used it once and so far love it!! Definitely nonstick and can cook a meal or small, plenty of room. Plus the lid and the lid stand comes with it as well..

I've only used it four times and already it's looking unsafe to continue consuming food made from this pot. The coating is obviously coming off, there are scattered spots all over and I will never use or ever buy this product again. Besides the nice red color and its large capacity, if you're looking for quality, look elsewhere.

Best kitchen item I've bought. Any time I need to fry, sauté, poach etc I use this. It's so much easier than trying to do batches of food since so much fits in it. It's easy to clean. It heats up fast, and when you turn it off it stops cooking almost immediately. I have an electric stove so that's a bonus! I bought one for a friend after she borrowed mine and loved it so much. And the price is amazing for such a great product.

The title of the review says it all. The heating element stopped working in less than 2 months of use. We have had a few of these and they are versatile and have typically lasted about 12-18 months with moderate/heavy use. This one lasted less than 60 days. Pretty lame. Need to find a better brand.

First issue: Of the four legs on the base of the skillet two were not the same height so the entire skillet wobbles. Second issue: As soon as the skillet heats up it shuts completely off. We were cooking bacon and as it began to sizzle the skillet shut itself off! We could hear the bacon stop sizzling so we turned up the heat to the next level, bacon resumed, there was a "click" the skillet shut off, bacon went silent. So we turned up the heat AGAIN, the bacon sizzled, there was another "click" and the bacon stopped cooking. What good is a skillet that keeps shutting off instead of maintaining an even cooking temperature? We're returning this worthless, poorly constructed, piece of junk.

This family size electric skillet comes in four beautiful colors. You can easily prepare a full meal in the skillet; and, it is so attractive you can serve the food right from the skillet. All my family and friends are impressed with this appearance and the versatility of this cookware.

When this fry pan arrived i realized it was bigger than I really need for my own personal use. But rather than return it (which would've been easy) I donated it to a local Assisted Living care facility. The folks who cook there were thrilled - being able to fry 10 eggs at once. Very good quality and looks.

If I had seen this in person I would not have bought it. I have used electric skillets for many years. The thing I liked about them was you could set a temperature and it would hold that temperature. This dial does not list the temperatures on it. It is going to be guess work for me. It came after the Christmas meals here so I haven't used it yet so I can't comment on how it works.
