This is good coffee. I wish Sam’s would sell Chock Full O Nuts Colombian in this size. I prefer darker blend to this one. So I add an extra scoop of this regular blend to get the right taste. This brand still sells 48 oz compared to lesser sizes in Folger’s or Dunkin’.

Although this coffee has been around a long time my husband has never tried it. I’m not a coffee drinker. Bought this on sale at a grocery store. My husband loves it. I then saw Sam’s sells it in the large container at a much better price than it was on sale…pretty common practice for Sam’s. Thank You Sam’s!!!

Buy from the store only. I've had Sam's Plus for a couple of years now. Ive yet to get a properly packed item. Coffee cans were dented and seal was broken on one of the two.. There is never any type of ipacking material ( other than useless brown paper) inside the shipments. This will be my last year of Sam's Plus enrollment.

I was reading reviews of different coffees and I cane across Chock Full of Nuts. I had never had it before. I read the negative reviews and found that most related to shipping issues and incompatible coffee makers. We have been drinking 8 o'clock for years and occasionally Folgers. I bought a can and I am glad that I did. I am not a coffee expert - I don't do chic coffee shops. I like the mild taste and the aroma of Chock Full. People who know me know that I like coffee in my cream. I have no use for black coffee, but this coffee is almost OK black. My recommendation is to give this a try. First, clean the fins at the bottom of your filter basket. Use a Q tip to remove the residue of your previous 1000 pots of coffee so that the coffee doesn't taste like acidic sludge. Just rinsing out the pot and basket doesn't count. I use a 20+ year old Mr Coffee that brews coffee perfectly with filters from a bag of 500 generic filters. I also use a stovetop percolator with a glass bulb on top - my grandmother's 80+ year old coffee maker. Chock Full came out delicious.
