Prior to purchasing my Defender2 tires I had the Firestone Destination tires on my vehicle and they were the worse tires I have every had on a vehicle. The traction and grip on these Michelin Defender2 tires are excellent! I would definitely recommend the Defender2 to others looking for a great set of all season tires.

Love the Michelin Defender 2 tires! First purchased a set for my wife’s car. When it was time to replace tires on my car, no question which tire to go with. The tires have a smooth ride, but also grip the road well. Great traction in both wet and dry conditions.

I was using the earlier Defender tires then got the Defender 2 tires. These tires are fantastic. Have used them in summer with heavy rains also now during winter with heavy snow and freezing rain. They have stopped without any noise and even on recent bad weather. Thank you Michelin.

Factory tires had worn and was time to replace. Did lots of research before buying and these seemed to fit my needs (Quit, smooth ride with a good tread life.) The Defender 2 has not disappointed. Minimal, if any road noise, smooth ride and excellent grip in rain and snow. You get what you pay for and in this case, these were a bit more than others, but well worth the money spent.

Very quiet and smooth. I love the way they handle. I live in a hilly / mountainous terrain where we get all four seasons. Recently we had a significant snow fall and we had to make a sudden stop due on the freeway. I was thankful that we had the Michelin Defender 2's. We stopped on a dime without any slippage. I can't comment on wear and durability because I haven't had them long enough but from other reviews that I've read from many sources, these were the "BEST" Recommended tire for my vehicle (Subaru Ascent). I have been a user of Michelin tires in my primary vehicles for at least 25 years. I have tried other popular and "best-selling" tires in my secondary cars but never achieved the satisfaction with wear, overall handling and traction as I did with the Michelin tires. Since moving north to a climate with more snow three years ago, I now use Michelin Tires exclusively and am very pleased with my decision.

I replaced the original tires on my Honda CRV with Michelins. Cannot be happier. My dealer had a sale price on the set , plus I got an eighty dollar rebate! The old tires were loud on all surfaces. The Michelins are quiet and ride so much better. Plus I expect double the tire wear.

Michelin Primacy MXV4s were the tires replaced by these. The biggest difference between the two is that the Defender 2s are much better in rain, snow, and slush, which is the reason I got them. My biggest concern was that they would be louder on the highway and they are not. The MXV4 is a fine tire, but these make my car more capable in bad weather.

I love these tires! Had Defender XLTs on my 2012 Rav 4 and couldn't wait to put them on my new car. I like the thick tread and way the drive through water. My car just feels more safe, as crazy as that sounds. I now have Defender LTX on my 2022 Rav 4 and still enjoy the ride!

The best tire purchase I have ever made. I replaced the tires on my 2021 Honda CRV which only had 28,000 miles and what a difference it made. The ride is smoother, quieter and my car seems to even handle better. I would highly recommend Michelin no matter what series you’ll be getting the best tire even though they are a little pricey you’ll be getting your moneys worth.
