[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was very strong and durable. I like that it was sealable so it could be the licorice fresh. The flavor wasn't what I was expecting. It tasted more like fruit punch with a hint of a black licorice flavor, while I was expecting a strawberry flavor. I do like the size of these pieces. They have the length and thickness of a battery which I actually really like. I feel like I get a good couple bites out of each piece so I only feel like I only need a few rather than grabbing a handful. The texture was very nice as well. It wasn't too hard and not too soft either. It was a smooth bite and the same with the chews. I didn't feel like I had to worry about my teeth falling out. I overall enjoyed this licorice.

They taste less artificial and have a less plasticky texture than a Twizzler, which I love. I enjoy that the packaging is resealable so that you don’t have to eat them all at once and they’ll stay fresh. I definitely recommend these for any candy lover.

It’s smells amazing as soon as you open the bag. It has a strong strawberry scent. You get a good amount of candy in each bag. Good texture, reminiscent of other licorice I’ve tried. Satisfying sweet treats.

The strawberry flavor is delicious. It is sweet, full of authentic flavor and comes in a generous resealable bag to keep it fresh. This brand actually makes so many more flavors I am dying to try. If you are a texture person, try this! I find most licorice to be sort of hard. Not this one. It’s chewy and soft. Not hard on your teeth at all. I think I’m going to try the watermelon flavor next. Teasing around the idea of adding this a cocktail stick with maraschino cherries and mint in a mock tail. It would make a beautiful presentation. Delicious!

And if you prefer your licorice on the soft chewy side, you will love these. I like my licorice a little tough, which these are not. I’ve tried both the classic black and some of the fruity varieties, and each one is bursting with rich, authentic flavors but this classic red is definitely my favorite. Unlike other licorices I've had that can be overly tough or artificial-tasting, Wiley Wallaby's strikes a perfect balance. It feels like a treat that's both nostalgic and high-quality. This licorice is much softer, tastier and fresher than your average licorice brands. I like how soft it is and how it doesn’t get so stuck in your teeth. I don’t love a lot of strawberry flavored candies because they have that chemical-like profile. The Wiley Wallaby brand has a much more natural strawberry flavor, which is super impressive! Definitely interested in trying other flavors as well!

They’re sweet enough to satisfy a craving without being overpowering. Licorice usually isn’t my first choice of snack, but I’ve been reaching for these a lot!
