One of the chocolate Premier protein shakes had gone sour and was leaking inside the box, unbeknownst to me until I was half way home and was overwhelmed by the stench that was building in my car. By the time I got home, I was afraid I was going to die from asphyxiation. My car was wet and WREAKED of sour milk. The entire case had to not only be thrown away, but our trash pickup was not for another 5 days, so we had to bag it and drive it to a local dump. My car, garage and driveway had to be hosed down and the smell didn’t leave my car until it was professionally cleaned. The floor mat, where the case had been sitting when I loaded it in my car was covered in the most vile wretched stank ever! I called customer service and they told me that I just had to bring the receipt and the box back in for a full refund, but there was no freaking way I was saving that god awful wet, smelly cardboard box and nor was I putting it back inside my car. The actual leaky shake was neon yellow in color, that’s how bad it was. It was vile and the smell still haunts me today. I had to cough it up to a waste of $30-something bucks because I didn’t return with the receipt and box. I could not bring myself to share that repugnant stench with another human being…not even my worst enemy!

The Premier Protein Chocolate flavor is absolutely delicious! It tastes rich and smooth, almost like chocolate milk, but with the added bonus of being packed with protein. It’s perfect as a quick breakfast, post workout shake, or even a healthy snack. I love that it’s not too sweet and has a creamy texture that makes it easy to enjoy every day. Definitely one of my favorites!
