The first pair of sheets I bought was queen size for our guest bedroom. The second time I put the sheets on that bed, for a guest, I noticed these odd little 1-2" tears. My boys had just had a sleepover with a friend and used the guest room. And, sadly, I assumed that my boys had cut the sheets. They promised me they did not. But nothing else made sense to me. I was pretty mad at my sons. At the time, my twin boys were eleven. They, quite simply, knew better. Fast forward about nine months and I bought two sets of twin sized sheets for my boys' beds. After the second wash they alerted me to the fact that their sheets now had tears in them. I was livid. They swore every which way that they did not cut their sheets. But nothing else made sense. I promised them I would never replace their sheets if they were going to so belligerently disregard my efforts to buy them nice but simultaneously affordable things. Fast forward six months. I bought my first pair of king sized sheets for my bed. My husband and I were impressed. Soft, breathable, quality. We used to buy really expensive sheets from a department store. They ran $600 for a complete set, when all was said and done. About four years before all this with the Member's Mark sheets, we bought a replacement pair. The replacement pair was replacing sheets that were over 12 years old. The elasticity was gone in the fitted sheet and the idea of a fitted sheet staying on the mattress had flown out the window. The replacement pair was NOTHING like the original pair we were replacing. They were awful, in comparison. And absolutely NOT worth the price. So, here we are with our Member's Mark sheets. Right out of the wash they were amazing. Just like our original over-priced amazing sheets. But for a fraction of the cost. Thread count is a funny thing. Because over a certain number, thread count means nothing. In fact, over a certain number, thread count may very well mean awful sheets. And what that "certain number" is is different for everyone. For my husband and I, anything over 700 equates to bad sheets. These sheets were perfect. Not too hot. Soft, silky, amazing. Until the second wash. And I had slits at the foot of the bed. On my "husband's side". What was he doing to these sheets? Why would he cut them? Does he need a pedicure that bad that he tore the sheets with his "rough feet"? I was mad. I got a second set for our king bed. Yep. Second wash. Here we are again with 1-2" tears. This time it was on "my side" of the bed. I know I hadn't been playing with scissors in bed. I know my feet are soft and not eagerly awaiting the next pedicure (except, they always are). Well, we've had these sheets for a few years now. And the tears keep happening. I have apologized profusely for condemning my sons. And replaced theirs. More tears. It is so annoying. We won't be buying anymore. And now I'm trying to figure out a replacement. But it sure won't be anything Member's Mark.

The sheets are fine. But I ordered full size sheets, but it came with what appears to be king size pillow cases. So when I put my standard size pillows in there’s a good half a foot of pillow case hanging off the end. I already washed them, so I guess I’m stuck with them. And they don’t look good like that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sheet set is the real deal! The fitted sheet is oversized preventing the sheet from riding up and showing the sides of the mattress. The set comes with 4 pillow cases which is somewhat unusual for a queen sized sheet set - however, as someone who usually keeps 3 pillows on my bed, I love that all my pillows now match. The sheets are so soft they almost feel silky. I have been sleeping like a baby since putting these sheets on my bed! Would recommend!! Might have to purchase another set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never tried Egyptian cotton sheets before, but I was always curious about them. So I was extremely excited to try the Hotel Premier collection from Member’s Mark. The set is 700 thread count cotton, and it’s very soft and cool to the touch. Since I often get hot at night during the summer, sheets that are naturally cooler are very appealing to me. My set came with four pillowcases, which I love since I use a lot of pillows on my bed. The color I received is called “blue crest”, but it seems a little more grayish than blue to me. I don’t mind though since gray actually suits my room really well. The packaging says that the set is wrinkle free, but I have to admit, mine arrived very wrinkled. Once I washed and dried the set, the wrinkles softened considerably, but they were not completely gone. I think after my next wash, the last of the stubborn wrinkles will go away. Overall, I’m really impressed with these sheets! They’re really high-quality, and I love that they’re machine washable and easy to care for. I definitely recommend them to anybody who wants a high-quality sheet set at a reasonable price.

Plus, no irritation whatsoever, which is a huge win for me. Washing them is a breeze, and they just feel so natural against my skin. I'm totally in love with how comfortable my bed is now.

I would like to share a little sewing knowledge for a couple of less knowledgeable reviewers. For the person who stated the sewing is coming a part after she washed them before using them. What you are seeing is the starting and ending tails of the thread which is always there, if not, seeing cannot begin. The person who sewed it just did not clean it up after finishing it. Which is to cut the tails off. However I would have sent your set back anyway because the sheet you were complaining about, the person has the tension set a little to loose, mostly the person forgot to reset it from a previous project, because it is not off by much. Under this situation I wouldn’t expect getting another set with the same problem. If the tension would have been ok, all you would have had to do was cut the threads. This person was having a bad day all around because the back/reversing at the end is supposed to on top of row on top row this is to prevent the thread from coming undone from washings and use. This person didn’t quite make the mark. The person who complained about softness. This set did NOT state pre-washed therefore it will have some stiffness until it is washed. Production wise it is easier on the weaving machines if the thread is stiffer, causes less jamming and thread breakage, as well as, less shipping bulk-age, the flatter it lays. So next time wash it first, then complain. At Sam’s you can do that and still can return it, just make sure you check the return policy 1st. Because not all things are returnable or they have exceptions. So, please people do your homework learn about what you are buying before you buy it. That includes how things are made. The higher the thread count the better, right? Well that means a whole grunch of little itty bitty fine threads that will break easily and the silkier even cotton sheets will feel and look. Which also means they will be as slippery as silk as well so, if yo like chase your sheets down all night then the hight thread counts are for you. Unless you sew velcro on the bed and on the top sheet, tucking it in is not going to work either.

1. Fitted sheet is ridiculously oversized! 2. After wash it showed a run in the fabric almost the entire length of the fitted sheet. Sadly, the fabric feels soft %26 buttery, but the poor fit %26 damage is unacceptable. If not for these issues I would buy multiple sets.

Haven't opened the package yet. I was charged full price instead of the sale price. Will return if I don't get the $20 credit. Took 3 days of calling before anyone answered the phone. Said to bring in with my receipt so they could make sure I got the right one. Have been a Sam's Club member since 1993. First time I've ever had this much frustration.

Great quality, a bit pricey! Hubby bought thinking the price listed was for the King, well it was for the twin, he didn’t notice the difference during checkout. Initially we thought it was a mistake in their system, it wasn’t, so we decided to keep them.
