Sent this to my son, who is a great cook, as he had been wanting one for a long time. I use mine often it is the best way to cook a roast for instance, results are always perfect. It was such a good deal online, on the one day sale, and with free shipping, this was the easiest and most welcome Christmas gift so far this season!

I love everything about this dutch oven, used it over the recent holiday and it performed beatifully and looked so good while doing it. The heat dispersion and retention abilities are excellent. The price is what I would expect to have paid for some aluminum junk (29) not coated cast iron. The clean up is very simple unlike non-coated cast iron products which require special handling. The pot is heavy so two hands are required to ensure you don't drop it on the floor and hurt your foot.

I LOVE these pots. I have two of them and recently gave one to a young bride. The even heating is awesome and you can leave things in this pot and it will stay warm - great for pot luck dinners. Makes the best chili ever and is the perfect size for a crowd.

I started making artisan-style bread and my cast iron skillet with lid was too shallow. I got this because it’s the best price you can find anywhere and the reviews were promising. I ordered the spruce color and it’s GORGEOUS. I’ve already made 2 loaves and we ate them quickly. The quality is solid and the value is unbeatable.I’ve yet to make anything else with this, but I’m certain it will be good.
