Bought this on 6-9-2023 arrived 6-13-2023, Assembly was easy took about 6 hrs. for 2 people. Well-built and great quality in making the parts. All cuts were accurate and holes clean and matched. no sharp edges. Really dressed up the curb appeal of our deck,lots of complements and several people asked where we bought it. Very Happy with this purchase.

Mine has been up for 2 months now and it has completely transformed my patio. Installation is a breeze if you can follow simple directions and take your time. My wife and I put our pergola together in about 4-5 hours. The quality of the materials is much more nicer than any other pergola kit I have seen at the big box stores, I’m confident it will last for many years.

After reading many reviews, we decided to purchase the 12x20 Beaumont pergola for the far side of our pool area. It is the perfect addition and finishes the space beautifully serving as a separation between the pool area and backyard “fun.” The pergola is real wood and very heavy (when putting together). My husband and I (ages 52 and 46) did it together with help from our 17 year old son when lifting. It took us some time (a full Saturday), but that included organizing the pieces before starting. We also worked slowly as I wanted to be sure we were doing it correctly to eliminate the need to undo and redo something - which would be a lot of work. We chose to paint our pergola (Turkish Coffee by Sherman Williams) to match our Tudor home as the natural stain the wood comes in was too light for our surrounding decor. We also strung lights and added curtains for comfort. This space is a favorite - even amongst the teenagers! We only put our pergola up a few weeks ago, but it’s heavy, solid and obviously high quality. I would highly recommend this particular pergola (12x20 Beaumont). Side note, the delivery was easy and the product arrived sooner than we expected. It comes in 4 large (heavy) boxes.

We've been looking for a backyard pergola for months and when we finally discovered Backyard Discovery, our searching was over. Not only is the quality great but the price is also! It came in two large boxes with all the parts well labeled. We'd recommend using the BILT app to walk through the assembly process with ease. We can't wait to enjoy our pergola for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Pergola a few months ago and we love it. Delivery was great! Assembly was fairly easy with 3 of us (took about 5 hours). We did not use the top layer of wood because we used polycarbonate roofing panels to provide protection during the rain. We also added outdoor curtains from Amazon to provide an additional touch. The pergola feels like it's great material. Overall we very happy with the product. Thanks!

I never leave reviews. And I'm the person that wondered why people say that. I assumed it's either because they may be trying to persuade someone either or way, who may be on the fence about buying a product. They are satisfied or dissatisfied. In this case, I am highly satisfied. The pergola is great. A few minor cracks in one of the 4 main corner posts, due to shipping I am assuming. I didn't call or complain, I didn't notice to I had put it up. It should be okay. I bought 2 months ago. It's been up a month now. Took about 7 hours over two days. I did alone. I had my wife to the corner post once I stood each side up. I attached all the separated parts together first in the garage. Then moved to the outside to set up. Went very smoothly. I bought this pergola late last summer and it was put up later in a raised area. I'm very pleased with it, as it looks fantastic. A few people passing by in vehicles have slowed down and looked at it. As the decking around the pergola will be completed soon, I look forward to enjoying it for a long time to come. The instructions and labelling of the associated pieces were as clear as a bell. It is better for two people to put it up as it is rather heavy, but once it is installed, it is eye candy.

I will update this post later with pictures of the finished assembly, but I want to start my review now by saying what a responsive company they are. I had questions about the pergola we bought, and the people who responded were awesome. They answered my quedstions both quickly and thoroughly. I started by unboxing everything in the garage, and then sorting adn counting everything. It was all there, and it all looked great. Then, as the instructions suggest, I used a water sealer on every piece to protect the wood. We still have some assembly work to complete, but then I will update this review with photos and final thoughts. So far, though, it's going very well.

this was very easy to assemble.the instructions say 3 people and 8 hrs. we had 5 people and it took 6 hrs (WITH QUITE A FEW BREAKS).could have done it with 4 people but i cant see doing it with just 3. It would have been very awkwrd. My only complaint it that quit a few of the boards were warped.

I love the idea of this kit for the DIY’er. It’s like a huge Lincoln Log set. I haven’t ha stud opportunity to actually put it together yet. The transport company ruined a bunch of wood pieces and I’m waiting for the replacements to arrive. This company has excellent customer service and immediately addresses issues with a friendly and understanding representative. They are a model for other businesses. Although I wish my experience was much smoother, you can’t get upset when you are treated so kindly. Awesome!
