I believe this is a really good product. Unfortunately, since I can't read, we're returning because it doesn't fit our space like we had hoped. I saw 6' x 4' and our space is a little over 4' wide so I thought "perfect!" Nope...it's 4' DEEP. This thing lives up to its Extra Large title because it's actually 5' 10.5" wide. :(

Great shed. I also have the larger outdoor shed from Sam's made by Suncast that is serving me well and this shed is just as well made. First, it's a lighter color than what you see in the item's photo. I'm mainly writing this review to comment about some of the unfair negatives some people have said in their reviews that had me concerned before buying. This is VERY easy for me to put together all by myself until you get to the doors. But, I'm 6 feet tall. Shorter folks would need a hand with the roof. One person says the metal supports across the roof were too long. I thought at first mine like be because the metal goes past the indention for the sides. They should. There are indentions on the side for that and it means the sides are holding up each end of the metal support. The hinges can be a little tricky. • After I installed the first door, I learned a trick I did before the second door. Before putting the hinges on the door, screw the screw through the hinge you will put in place later and take it back out. That seemed to help getting the screws in place. • You slide 3 hinges on each door, and they spin easy like you would like them to, but that also means they spin in a position you don't want and fall off easy. Painter's tape can take care of that problem but not too much tape so you can remove it once clipped onto the sides. You then get the other half of the 3 hinges to snap into place on the edge of the shed's side. It's not too hard to do, but not as easy as the previous steps. My left door is scrapped up on the opening edge from me dropping it one time on the cement. A second person probably would have prevented that. • Once snapped in, you run the screw I mentioned earlier through the back side of the hinge that snaps in place to the front side with the edge of the shed in between. The screws go in better with the door more closed. The screw looks too long but the extra length allows you to hold the screw better and you are able to aim it at the threads on the other side. Just don't screw the screw all the way in once it goes through or the door won't close. When you see just a little of the screw coming through, stop. For the folks saying the doors fall off, it appears that this screw was not installed. I don't see how a hinge could become unclipped and clipped back on if the screw is holding it clipped and secured to the wall. Get the original screws that came with it or purchase 6 stainless steel .25" x 1.5" machine screws and lock down each of those clips. The door will not unclip again. • For me five of the six went OK. I snapped, unsnapped and tried all sorts of stuff for that last hinge. I could not get the screw to line up with the threads on the other side of the clip. I finally decided to just stop and look at it again the next day. The next day, as soon as I tried the screw again, it went right in no problem. Maybe opening the doors and closing them again a few times put it better in position, the cool last night then the heat today - Don't know why it fixed itself, but I'll take it.

Purchased 1 week ago @ Sam's Club. The book and parts to put it together don't match or missing. The company initially said they won't send parts, to return shed to store. I'm senior citizen and handicapped, this means a 3 hour drive. Sam's Club didn't return my proof sales receipt at purchase, so I'm trying hard not to make needless drive, out gas and hardship, for unit we wanted to keep. Looks like excellent material and SUNCAST said with receipt they would send parts after all. Book and parts don't match or missing. I expect returns across America for being so sloppy between incorrectly marked instruction manual and incorrectly labeled or missing parts. So sad. You expect this but not from Made in America quality.

We've been in the market for outdoor storage for the lawn tools, lawn mower, power washer and such for awhile now and finally got serious this last week to find one before the weather makes it too hot to put it together. We looked at all the competition (big box stores) first and we found the right sizes but the prices were outrageous for the vinyl/resin models and we didn't want metal or wood because of the humid weather here in Florida that would rust or dry rot quickly. This shed fits all the size requirements and was fairly easy to put together. It goes much quicker with two people, one holding and one screwing the parts together. The instructions were a bit confusing and the parts numbers didn't match the written instructions but we were able to figure it out still. It took the two of us about 3.5 hours total and that included prepping the soil, pavers to elevate it, and the finishing pieces (locks, hinges, etc.). As you can see, it sits pretty close to the house and we were even able to leave some of the landscaping close so it didn't look like we just plopped in there today. Neutral colors and easy access so we don't have to haul things from the garage back and forth now to work in our back yard. Would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a quick job with roomy storage for small spaces. Our mower, power washer, gardening tools, broom, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, gas can and a few other assorted items all fit nicely and one great feature about this unit is the built-in floor. No plywood to cut or worry about it getting wet. Here's the finished product started and finished in one afternoon.

Purchased this shed a month ago, and did a pickup with no issues. Total assembly time was less than 2 hours, from unpacking, verifying the pieces and then reading and following the instructions. No surprises in the instructions and it was pretty intuitive until I got to the door hinges which required me to visualize how they needed to be slide on the door. I had them reversed and it was no problem to flip them. I put in a couple shelves so having the internal measurements was great. Shed seems solidly built so I am happy with it. Need to treat the resin walls and roof with UV Protectant Spray since it is in direct sunlight, during the warm summers in the California East Bay area. Might be overkill but why not try to get the most life out of this unit..

With Plus membership, shipping was free and good thing: It weighs about 200lbs! I moved it piecemeal, and assembled it in about 2 hours: very simple to put together. I put it on a concrete slab, but if you plan to put it on soil it would be a good idea to build a wood riser foundation (instructions included). Worth every penny!

Excellent shed. Easy to assemble. Those other reviews who say it's hard probably shouldn't assembling a shed if they think this is hard. Also, guy who complained that the shelves are missing and sent photo of instructions: read the photo you uploaded -- shelves are not included -- you need to buy wood and cut it as instructed. My wife and I assembled this in under an hour. The doors work perfectly and are very sturdy. Amazing product for the money.

I bought this shed and I am greatly disappointed with the product, installation and customer service. On assemble, I found the "s bar" for the roof was actually too long by 1/4 inch. Customer service said you need to force it in. No....you need to cut it to size and I did so to created a fit. Secondly after the final assembly, I found the doors do not align from top to bottom when closing. My platform is level and the shed is properly assemble however the door need a good kick at the bottom. The top of the shed is wider than the bottom. No amount of adjustments or shimming will correct the problem. Please note: I am very handy and have a garage full of tools. I know what I am doing around making and building items. I felt it was important to let customers know Suncast does not make great products,

I was looking for a storage unit large enough to hold my 5 burner grill due to mice wanting to make nests during the winter time. It is seals rather well. I think it accomplished my goal. I don't like the hinges. Aggravating to put together, but I had a chemo pump hanging around my neck so that probably added to my frustration. But I am pleased with it. For the money, it holds a lot of stuff.

Very happy with purchase and highly recommend. Shed looks great, is sturdy and was a great value relative to everything else I saw out there. Highly recommend. If you are handy, one person can assemble this on their own - recommend having an impact driver for the roof screws.
