Envy apples are very good and sweet.  We buy them often.

These were not good.  Mushy.  Yuck.  I returned them.

We use this to juice, a fresh apple juice. But if it’s just to eat an apple, not sweet.

I discarded the entire bag! I have very much enjoyed envy apples in the past but these wrre mushy and bitter. I wonder if they got frozen somewhere along the line.

Not as good as earlier in the season.

I chose these apples because Envy apples are the sweetest.  This is according a photo of a row of apples from sweetest to most tart.  I use these to make applesauce with apple juice and cinnamon.  Between the Envy apples and the apple juice, there is plenty of seeetness with no need to add sugar.  I make my own applesauce because too few stores sell the chunky applesauce anymore.  Sadly, that includes Sam’s.  So I buy the apples and make the applesauce the way I like it.
