- 5 out of 5 stars review4/18/2024I've got a 2009 Jaguar XKR Portfolio Convertible with 69k miles. This is my third set of tires. My first were Yokohama's....not a bad tire but in my opinion, they don't compare with the Michelin Pilot Sport AS4. I'm on my second full set of 4 Pilot Sports. When these wear out, I'll buy another! They handle extremely well, the ride is wonderful and they lasted about 45,000 before needing to replace. I'd absolutely recommend these for your sports car!
Second Set of 4 - Great Tires!
MistaFrankOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/10/2021I bought a set of pilot sport AS4 to put on my car and I absolutely love them the amount of control and response difference compared to the stock tires was unbelievable and as far as grip goes I have a hard time breaking loose when I try to do it on purpose
Amazing control
MplizzleOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 3 out of 5 stars review5/22/2025I have an Audi SQ5 2023. I switched from my OEM Pirelli P Zero. I can report that the new Michelin are way louder above 60 MPH. They don’t corner as well. They are good under braking. I will report back when I have more miles. For the cost I wish I had gone to the Pirelli, the road noise is disappointing and unfortunately I do a lot of highway miles.
Noisy

The way they corner is smooth…there is virtually no noise from them and they “hug” the road. I have yet to drive them in the winter.
Love Them!
Diane48Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/1/2025This was my second set of these tires. My first set was on my 2021 Subaru WRX STI, replacing my factory Yokohamas. They provided better handling and were great in all seasons. This time, I replaced my 2024 Nissan Nismo Z’s factory Dunlops. I’m planning to drive my Z all season without any interruptions. I’m confident that these Pilot Sport All-Season 4 tires will deliver!
Excellent all around!!
NISMO ZOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/22/2021Got these not too long ago and they're a great daily tire. Quiet and very comfortable for a performance tire, my car is lowered too. I got these to replace my AS/3s since those were so good. The tire has excellent dry grip and very good wet grip. I haven't had a chance to test snow grip yet, but if the AS/3 was anything to go by, I am not worried about it one bit. I just had a chance to take the car to the track and the tires were great there as well. I never felt like the tires were going to let me go off track unless I wanted to, and I was full tilt out there. Managed to pass up a 350Z in my 200hp Acura and didn't get caught by the Focus RS or the Roush Mustang. That was a very twisty course where grip was key, and it never let me down. T...
Fantastic for daily driving and medium track use.
swva_tsxOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/20/2020Michelin finally started making my size again for 04 SVT Cobra Mustang. They quit making an A/S for my car back in 2015 and I have to put on a BF Goodrich which bounced like rubber balls on my car, I was highly disappointed. I kept asking Michelin for my tire back again. Finally they started making these in Jul 2020. Had them put on a month again and my Mustang rides and drives like new again. It handles good and rides smooth, very little road noise. Thanks Michelin, I worked at Michelin for 36 years so I know a lot about tires and These are GREAT!!!!
GREAT TIRE
MikeOriginally posted onmichelinman.comConsumer CareThanks for the awesome review, Mike! - 2 out of 5 stars review1/14/2025Significantly louder than the HX MXM4's they replaced. Noise starts right at 40mph and gets significantly louder at highway speeds. Likely going to swap them out for another brand as this is the only Michelin tire that fits 245/50/R17. Tire handles great but I just can't deal with the noise.
Very Noisy
Wedd LukeOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/6/2022I purchased a set for a our BMW approximately a month ago looking for a set of all season performance tires which we could also use in light snow but enjoy during spirited drives in the summer without the hassle and expense of 2 sets of wheels/tires.
Excellent all season performance tire
carcrazydocOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/14/2023Purchased for a 2010 Camaro V6 driven all year round in a cold climate. For the past 3 months (December to March), they have performed excellently in cold weather (below freezing) and in light snow. I will no longer be swapping tires in the summer, and will stick with these all year round. They are superior to my previous winter tires on the car, along with the previous summer tires.

We_The_NorthOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/30/2020Had continental DWS-06 on my wrx and switched to Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4. Didn’t expect much and boy was I wrong! On ramps and corners are like being on rails! I literally can go so much faster around corners and no give, no noise, these tires never miss a beat! These are better than the Pilot Super Sport that I have on my BMW, and these are suitable for year round performance. I was considering several options and brands, but in the end I relied on my past experiences with Michelin and went with these. So glad I did, I’m never looking back. Love the look of these and love how they perform. Now I can see why they’re OE on the C8 vette amazing product Michelin, thanks for living up to your reputation (again!)
Mind blowing
DubxOriginally posted onmichelinman.comConsumer CareAwesome, thanks for sharing the love, Dubx! - 4 out of 5 stars review2/6/2021I am hesitant to give a 5 star, because these tires on my Miata, seem to lack smooth steering. For example, when you just slightly turn the wheel, it jumps like it had difficulty going over its own tread?????, then when you turn back slightly it sticks and jumps. Very subtle, different then the OEM tires that were on the vehicle. Wish I really knew what was going on. Air pressure is what is on door jam. I may vary tire pressure and test.
Looks great on Mazda Launch edition MX-5

Yo... - 4 out of 5 stars review2/28/2021These tires have great grip even in the heaviest of rains however you pay for this with 15-20% range loss in all driving conditions in my Tesla Model 3. I normally only drive it locally but now I can't really take it on long trips because it will require charging stops.
Telsa: 15-20% range loss but great grip.
quiksterOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review6/3/2021I've had my tires for about 9 months now and they're awesome!! My previous set of tires were the Continental Extremecontact DWS06. If I were to compare the two, in terms of performance and comfort, the Pilot Sport A/S 4 has been quite a bit better in the dry and wet weather...gas mileage is approximately the same for both tires. I haven't had the opportunity to drive in the snow so I don't know which tires are better. But in terms of treadwear, I would give a slight edge to the Continentals.
Great Tires
GKOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/25/2024Replaced the old Stock Pilot Super Sports on my ‘19 Z06 Convert with a fresh set of Pilot Sport A/S 4’s. Absolutely love them. Pilot Sport A/S 4’s are rated for hot and cold ambients, dry, rain, and even snow. The perfect tire for northern state roads and highways. The Ackerman effect with tight turns, hydroplaning on rainy roads and pebble showers on the bottom of the car common with Pilot Super Sports is gone. The A/S 4’a are definitely quieter than the Pilot Super Sports. The A/S 4’s may have a bit less traction on hot dry track days but I’ll never miss it. I’d much rather have the extended driving season with the A/S 4’s . Thank you Michelin!
The Perfect All Season Performance Road Tire
naumancOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/18/2022I just replaced Continental run-flat tires with the Pilot Sport All Season 4 (non run-flats). It is made a massive difference. The tires ride smoothly, steer precisely, braking is improved, and wet performance is so much better and confidence inspiring. A great combination of both sport and luxury. As to a number of comments about the tires being noisy, they really aren't any noisier than competitive tires or the tires predecessor, the A's 3+. I think it's just that the tone of the noises a little bit higher pitched and therefore more noticeable to some people. On the other hand, I noticed that there is no noise difference when driving on asphalt and concrete, which is unusual because most tires tend to be louder on concrete. Not so with th...
Outstanding tire
HasbrownOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/24/2025I instantly noticed the difference in handling, performance, and traction in my 2017 Mazda 6 when I first drove on my Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires. They are awesome! They are sure-footed on winding mountain roads and provide confident stopping even on downward slopes in rainy weather. Worth every penny!
Great traction and handling
JohnT97Originally posted onmichelinman.comConsumer Care MIC USJohn, Thanks for the great feedback! - 1 out of 5 stars review9/2/2023Randomly worn in a section of the tire between the centre and outside edge of the tire. Only had them on my X5 for 25,000 km Always been a fan of Michelin but this is the last set I buy. I don’t even want to attempt a warranty claim because they still aren’t worth it.
Amazing tires at first AND THEN THEH WERE JUNK
dymkerOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/12/2025The specs and real performance of these tires are incredible. 255/35R21/XL 98W Front - 275/35R21/XL 103W Rear. I know My Tesla MYP can outperform 97% of the vehicles on the road. The car can do 0-60 in 3.4 seconds. Most likely your non-Tesla car cannot. I put it to the test on my daily 55 mile commute. The tires have a lot to do with this. The heavy EV and high speed rating are brilliant technology. Fully confident all weather rain/sleet /snow/ice at very high speeds. Hey Michelin Bring back Premium Touch.. love it

Premium TouchOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review1/10/2022I have already driven 17,118 miles with these tires and experienced my first snowstorm with them. Doing my regular maintenance rotating my tires every 5k miles and making sure my tires are properly inflated every month, I have run into 0 issues. They drove flawlessly in the snow with minimal slippage. I enjoyed them and will keep buying Michelin tires in the future.
