- 5 out of 5 stars review2/28/2022For reference, my old tires were almost bald, but I bought these for my E350 and they are quieter, smoother and have noticeably more control than the originals. Highly recommend for drivers that enjoy driving :)
Awesome Tires
SnickersthecatOriginally posted onmichelinman.comConsumer CareSnickersthecat, thanks for sharing the love! We appreciate you! - 2 out of 5 stars review11/10/2021We had high hopes for these tires. Unfortunately the wear seemed to happen quickly and the car was not even driven much. Will pass on these next time. Hasn't been a year and need new tires already.
Not worth what we spent

These are the best riding run-flat tires I have used on this vehicle. I have experienced better wet weather performance, and expect better wear than with summer tires.
Very Good Tires
paul512Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/10/2021I have the cup tires on my GT3, the Ice tires on my mazdaspeed6. And so I bought these for my '18 Model S 100D. They replaced the "quiet" Goodyears OEM at 23,500 miles. After installing the Pilot Sports, I immediately went to the Tesla Service Center in St. Bruno , Quebec for a wheel alignment. I have never touched a curb with the wheels but the car needed an alignment. At this point they are about as quiet as the goodyears. They seem to handle bettter too, but the wheel alignment helped with that too. I have never had a bad experience with Michelins. Even though I purchased them last Winter I just had them installed.
So far so good!
NorthEastSkierOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/24/2025I instantly noticed the difference in handling, performance, and traction in my 2017 Mazda 6 when I first drove on my Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires. They are awesome! They are sure-footed on winding mountain roads and provide confident stopping even on downward slopes in rainy weather. Worth every penny!
Great traction and handling

TheModifiedHyundaiOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 1 out of 5 stars review1/5/2024I purchased Top of The Line Tires $$$ Expecting Top Quality & Performance. (You Get What You Pay For) As for the performance I WAS very happy with the stopping, road handling (in all weather conditions) & an over all smooth quiet ride. However the Quality / Tread Life is absolutely horrible! 3 years and only 13,000 miles later and I NEED NEW TIRES ALREADY!!! Completely UNACCEPTABLE!
Very Poor Tread Life!

These are not run flats(thankfully). Car rides much nicer. She is happy. Draw back is now I have to get an extra wheel for a spare, which I would prefer anyway, remember tires do come apart sometimes, run flat or regular tire.
Happy wife
JoeOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/12/2020I first owned the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3, then my tires wore down, so went to the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+. Now I'm currently using the Michelin Pilot Sport AS4. From my very early and initial impression (under 50 miles), these tires are the best of the group thus far. I found the AS3 and AS3+ were almost identical in tread pattern, driving, comfort with a slightly higher noise level. The AS4 feels like a significant upgrade. Firstly its an entirely new tread pattern from the past 2 models. A variation of sipe thickness and patterns. It looks like it will grip better. Briefly driving on both dry and wet roads, highway and city, it delivered nicely. It already felt great with the AS3 and AS3+, so I'd expect the same with some refin...
The 'Almost' Legend Continues
MancanOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/14/2023Purchased for a 2010 Camaro V6 driven all year round in a cold climate. For the past 3 months (December to March), they have performed excellently in cold weather (below freezing) and in light snow. I will no longer be swapping tires in the summer, and will stick with these all year round. They are superior to my previous winter tires on the car, along with the previous summer tires.

We_The_NorthOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 3 out of 5 stars review10/30/2024Tire has amazing qualities in which i love. Tread will not keep up the 45,000 miles in which is stated. 255/40/ZR21 & 265/40/ZR21 Are the tire sizes i own. I can not purchase Hazard Insurance due to size of tire, thankfully i have not had an instance which requires it but its good to have. Please create a tire for winter for these sizes. Much appreciated!
Great Tire but Tread ehh..
WHOKNWSOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/18/2022I just replaced Continental run-flat tires with the Pilot Sport All Season 4 (non run-flats). It is made a massive difference. The tires ride smoothly, steer precisely, braking is improved, and wet performance is so much better and confidence inspiring. A great combination of both sport and luxury. As to a number of comments about the tires being noisy, they really aren't any noisier than competitive tires or the tires predecessor, the A's 3+. I think it's just that the tone of the noises a little bit higher pitched and therefore more noticeable to some people. On the other hand, I noticed that there is no noise difference when driving on asphalt and concrete, which is unusual because most tires tend to be louder on concrete. Not so with th...
Outstanding tire
HasbrownOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/14/2022I live in NJ and put these on my car in October. Debated getting winter tires but wasn't sure if I needed something that extreme. Replaced the stock pilot sport 4S (also a great tire) to get ready for cold, wet, and sometimes snowy roads here in northern NJ. Have 3500 miles on them currently and couldn't be happier. Very confidence inspiring tires in the extreme cold and wet or dusting of snow and are capable in a few inches of snow on the road. MPG is down 1-2 miles and I haven't noticed the road noise that some people mention. Very happy so far.
The Goldilocks Tire
RedbaronOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review6/3/2021I've had my tires for about 9 months now and they're awesome!! My previous set of tires were the Continental Extremecontact DWS06. If I were to compare the two, in terms of performance and comfort, the Pilot Sport A/S 4 has been quite a bit better in the dry and wet weather...gas mileage is approximately the same for both tires. I haven't had the opportunity to drive in the snow so I don't know which tires are better. But in terms of treadwear, I would give a slight edge to the Continentals.
Great Tires
GKOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 1 out of 5 stars review5/24/2023Delaminates and must be replaced before tread life. I have had 3 sets of AS3, then AS4's and ALL have delaminated in the front just where the tread meets the sidewall. I use my Corvette Grand Sport for performance driving, but these tires are rated f.or high performance. I currently have less then 4,000 miles on my tires and the fronts need replacing
Delaminates- beware!
BDMOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review6/1/2025Bought four 235/50/18ZR 101Y Pilot all season 4 tires for my Buick Allure Super and have had them for 3 years on the car so far have only put 10000km on the tires. Tires have shown very little wear and are excellent in wet and dry conditions I only drive this car in spring, summer and fall and the lowest temp I have driven is -5 Celsius and have no complaints very happy with this tire . Also road noise is non existent with these tires their extremely quiet
Perfect tire
Red 5Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review4/11/2024I have been a Michelin owner for more than 40 years and have only had 2 issues in all that time. One was a bent suspension arm that tore 2 tires to shreds. The other was a 3 inch spike that blew a tire, neither of these were Michelin issues and have trusted the brand forever.
40 years and still counting
DinoD60Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/16/2020I have a 2020 Type R, factory tires are not meant to driven below 5C so I have to get a set of tires for the winter. There is not much snow in the winter where I live but it's always under 5C and raining. I tried driving on winter tires and all-weather tires available for my car and they both failed to meet my expectation for wet traction. Put these PSAS4 on for couple weeks and I am very happy them. They are definitely better than the Conti DWS06 on my BMW. I drive a "sport car" the way it's meant to be driven, should not have to compromise and drive slowly because it's cold IMHO. I will drive my SUV when it snows heavily.
Perfect for All-season
OverRevOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/25/2024Replaced the old Stock Pilot Super Sports on my ‘19 Z06 Convert with a fresh set of Pilot Sport A/S 4’s. Absolutely love them. Pilot Sport A/S 4’s are rated for hot and cold ambients, dry, rain, and even snow. The perfect tire for northern state roads and highways. The Ackerman effect with tight turns, hydroplaning on rainy roads and pebble showers on the bottom of the car common with Pilot Super Sports is gone. The A/S 4’a are definitely quieter than the Pilot Super Sports. The A/S 4’s may have a bit less traction on hot dry track days but I’ll never miss it. I’d much rather have the extended driving season with the A/S 4’s . Thank you Michelin!
The Perfect All Season Performance Road Tire
naumancOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/17/2025This is my third set of new Michelin tires and I absolutely love them! My 18 year old car handles beautifully with them. The way they corner is smooth…there is virtually no noise from them and they “hug” the road. I have yet to drive them in the winter.
Love Them!
