I use to love Sam’s apple pies but they have changed the recipe for the crust. Both the top and bottom crusts are super thick and tough. This is not how pie crust should be. As a result most of the pie was not eaten.

I've been purchasing this apple pie for a couple years now and its absolutely delicious. It's flavorful and it's not overpowered with cinnamon flavor or to much butter, its just right!

Bought this pie for a Thanksgiving dinner at my mother's. It was gone before I even got a slice. The apples are cooked very well. The crust is not mushy. The seasoning is awesome. I will be buying for Christmas (only this time I'll be getting 2).

This is my favorite store bought apple pie. The crust is flavorful and crisp. The apple pie filling has the right account of sweetness. The apples have the right amount of firmness without being hard. Give it a try! Hopefully you like it as well.

These apple pies are always delicious. Our one complaint is that the crust is consistently way too thick. Please lighten it up so it isn’t so difficult to get the fork into.

The pie was better then the last time i bought one three or four year's ago and swore to never to buy a pie from Sam's again. But the pie looked so good had to get it, much better then the last time for sure. The crust must be worked on. (To Hard)

Big Pie! Excellent bake which is hard to do in that size. Loved the crunchy caramelized crust, the apples were sliced thick so gave it texture, not too soft, not too crunchy. Could have used slightly more cinnamon but they must cater to the masses. Overall better than other stores. Only apple pie that I will buy again.

I LOVE apple pie! This is as close as you can get to a fresh homemade apple pie. Since I am the only one in the family who will eat apple pie, when I get this pie home, I split it into 4 pieces and freeze 3 to eat later. My only thing I wish the crust was a bit crispier, it is pretty soft and kind of reminds you more of a Dutch Apple Topping

The crust on the pie was way under cooked. Not sure if it’s how they prepare it but there wasn’t any instructions stating to bake longer and it that’s the case the pies need to be refrigerated not on the tables at room temp. Had to toss the pie because raw dough can cause illness. PLEASE CHECK YOUR DOUGH BEFORE EATING

I heated the pie for about 20 minutes in a 350 oven. This crisped up the crust without cooking it further. The pie is good, and I recommend it. The reason for the 4 stars is that it is just a tad sweet (but bearable) and the pie had overflowed and the juice had hardened on the rim of the crust, making it hard to cut.
