The need for less caffeine has me blending Folgers Classic Regular and Decaf. When making 3 cups, 2 tsp regular with 8 tsp decaf can be enough to wake up to. The flavor is just a little better with 3 tsp regular. Sips of black decaf can keep the appetite down. No tension, and no shaky feeling.

I'm usually a hardcore caffeine drinker but this right here is so smooth, so subtle, drinking it before bedtime is so relaxing. The packaging is also nice. For a decaf coffee this Folgers does not spare flavor. It is bold,tasty and satisfying without the jolt. It is a medium blend of coffee that goes down easy and is NOT bitter. Growing up my mom would drink coffee at night. Doesn’t make sense right? I think it’s just a Mexican household thing. However I can’t drink it or else I’ll be up all night. I am used to a dark roast, and even though this is listed as medium roast, it still has a nice strong flavor. I used this in both a traditional drip coffee maker and a reusable single serve. Both ways were effective with the grind of this coffee.
