This queso is surprisingly better than I expected. We love white queso at our house. This was a great amount of queso for the price. I just bagged up what we did not use into smaller amounts to pull from the freezer for future meals. The taste at first is pretty bland. However, after it lingers in the tongue for a few seconds you feel the heat. It is not overly spicy. Just enough heat to have some flavor. We liked it. Might have to buy it a second time. I love queso and eat it weekly! This is a great brand and good for large get together or baking dishes. The only thing I dont like is that for this size, it would be nice to have a screw on top or other type of closure. It would be nice to be able to use it more than once or fit it in my fridge and currently its the normal metal can top that you have to use a can opener for. This queso sauce is wonderful. It has just a bit of heat; not enough to scare people away though. We had a pulled pork nacho bar at my daughter's wedding and received so many compliments!

The queso itself is great, the shipping process however not so much. The cans were all smashed when they arrived. Refund was given but don’t recommend ordering these online

I bought this for a nacho bar for our son’s graduation so there would be some food in addition to a food truck that we hired. I thought this would make my life easier than cubing up a couple of huge boxes of queso blanco Velveta and other cheeses. I was oh so hopeful this giant can was going to be similar to the queso blanco that a famous Tex Mex quick service restaurant sells, but it lacks flavor. When I tried to doctor it up with green chilis, rotel, and cumin, it ended up being too spicy for some guests. I think I’ll stick to Velveta.
