Just not a fan of Old trapper Jerky

Always soft and delicious! Our family's favorite.

Flavor was good, a little tougher than normal

A little dry but tender for the most part.

Honestly it’s just too sweet. I had high hopes but I just don’t like sweet beef jerky.

so glad the unpeppered variety is now available in the store. sometimes it's hard to come up with $50 for the free shipping

This tastes pretty good but it's really too spicy for me. I can only eat one or two bites before it burns my mouth. I wish it wasn't so spicy.

I have eaten most of the major brands. This is by far the best retail beef jerky I have ever had. It has just enough black pepper to not overload it. It lasts a couple of years on the shelf unopened which is why it's also in my stocked emergency food list. I just keep eating the oldest bags I have on hand while I replenish with new. I eat so much it really never can get very old anyway. It's also reasonably priced.
