This unit works good it’s just very hard to clean. I always use distilled water and dump out any left in the tank and base the next morning, rinse and clean then set it out to dry. The tank never completely dries in one day. I’ve even taken a blow dryer to it trying to get it to dry. It seemed to work great in the beginning but then I started noticing little spots of pink bacteria growing on the base and in the cracks even though I clean it after each use and set it out to dry. I’ve let vinegar set in the base as directed too. Not sure how you’d ever be able to use a whole tank of water over a few days if this is what happens after one day. The silver clean technology is supposed to fight the growth of mold. For something to that’s supposed to support your health I feel it’s doing the opposite. I would never buy this unit again. I would purchase one that you could completely wash the entire tank and dry. You can only get a bottle brush around part of this tank.

But let me say, when you find something that keeps you and your family breathing easy and clean, you wan to shout it from the rooftop! I suffer from allergies and fall is my worst time of year. The humidifier was for me and me alone.. But then the sniffles started, and I have five children. When you hear a sniffle, you jump! It kept their nasal passages from becoming more inflamed and recover time was quick! It has helped me through two leaf collections that would normally cause me to loose the next day of work. I turn the Humidifier on before going out, and when I come in, I shower and kick back with a luxury I can promise you I have never experienced this time of year. The no fungal tank for those of us on the little bit lazy side.. Again I say, You just have to LOVE this Humidifier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned a humidifier before and one thing I hated the most about it was to constantly buy filters. This unit doesn't need a filter which is great. It has a little brush that you need to clean the ultrasonic disk inside the unit. The humidifier consists of a blue water tank and a white base. It has a power button, which also serves as a mist control and refill indicator. If you press it once, the unit turns on. The mist level is low. Press it once again after turning it on and the mist level is medium. Press it twice after turning it on and the more at level is high. Besides that, the power button serves as a refill indicator, which turned red in case the water level is low and you need to refill it. When the water is low the unit automatically shuts down. When water tank is refilled it automatically resumes running. The humidifier also has a blue night light. The unit measures 6.30"L/6.30"W/13"H; weighs 2.3 pounds. The water tank is 1 gallon. It can run up to 70 hours between tank refills. I have been using it every day for a few days and I love it. Definitely recommend.

Cool weather comes in the mountains of Appalachia and the normally high humidity drops. Skin cracks, lips chafe sleeping gets hard, sometimes even nose bleeds happen. But this humidifier set on the second level during the night has been a Godsend to help alleviate all these discomforts.
