Seems to have only a few less pleats as a 1900 limited info out there on these but I'm glad to have a budget option that seems to perform well and let's the HVAC unit breather easier. More pleats equal better air flow and less static pressure for your system when it starts to get dirty. Less stress on HVAC units

I appreciate the price Sam’s club provides us for this air filter. It’s almost half priced as compared with the other retailer. The 3M quality is always the best. I can immediately feel fresher air in my home after replacing the old filter with this one. I bought 12 packs with this price, enough for next 3 years. I highly recommend this product to everyone.

I only buy Filtrete, they're the best. Unfortunately my 10 year old furnace died 2 days after I received these filters and I never had a chance to use them. Replacement furnace uses a different size and the company I used provides free filters for 2 years so I will be returning these. Will buy the new size from Sam's when the free filters run out or if I decide the free filters aren't doing the job.

Filtrete is a very good filter. Traps the pollen this time of year. I have a dual heat pump that has different Returns and the settings. One upstairs and one downstairs in the ceiling. I also have a larger return in the Den. All work well with Filtrete filters. Rarely have to dust!

My friend recommended these filters and I'm very happy using them. The air is a lot cleaner; I don't have to change the filter out for 3 months. I highly recommend, although pricey, it is definitely worth the money. Also, they have a reminder when to change out filters.

I have used these filters for several years and don't have to change them out as often as other brands. Although it states they last 3 mos, I usually swtich them around 2 mos in summer. I don't have much along allergys so I can't speak to it's effectiveness or maybe that's why I don't have allergys :-)

These are good filters. They are good quality and stronger than the cardboard filters. These have a wire mesh on both sides and stay firm and strong with the air flowing through them. They hold a lot of dust and keep the AC unit very clean. Keeps a lot of dust from flowing into the house. Keeps the air cleaner.

Rating is not based on scientific analysis but based on observation and long-term use. The 1600 MPR appears to substantially reduce as claimed pollen, pet dander, smoke, bacteria and viruses. The latter two elements cannot really be determined. Changed every 2-3 months and the amount of collected debris in the filter is supported of filtering.

I know HVAC workers will cringe when I say this, but we really like these better than the cheap ones they HVAC workers say to use. I don't think they're a waste of money. Having the pets we have, being smokers, and living in an older house that's hard to keep dust and dirt out these help much better than the cheap ones. Instead of changing the cheap ones 1 or 2 times a week, we can sometimes go almost a month with these
