[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge to replace our Samsung bottom freezer unit that was experiencing part failure after part failure. I was looking to spend around $2000 for a newer model expecting to have to omit the in door water and ice dispenser. Much to my surprise I got much more for much less! This LG holds twice as much as my old unit and has the side by side doors which allows organization and ease of access to EVERYTHING! I LOVE THIS FRIDGE! The replacement filters are affordable and the ice and water taste amazing! I am very happy with my purchase and will definitely buy LG from now on.

I plan on remodeling the kitchen and felt this “replacement” would be temporary. I enjoyed my refrigerator so much that I have decided any remodeling would have to center around this refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I do like the new fridge. It is extremely quiet, which was one reason I replaced the one prior to it. It is streamline and so far works great! Ice maker works quietly and seems to not overload itself. I miss the handles on the doors. They were easier to grab with you hands full, and easier to clean. (I get it...the delivery guys don't like them). I don't especially like that the pattern for getting from ice to water is always in one direction. Why couldn't you just have a TOUCH system like others I've had have? Again, just a little thing, but you asked. I'm going to have to read the owners manual to find out how to change the water filter. Probably easy, but not conspicuous. The bottom drawer in the fridge side won't come all the way out unless the door is all the way open. Bummer. There seems to be more plastic in the overall makeup of the unit than use to be. And for some reason it seems darker, especially in the fridge side.

Sleek and spacious, stainless steel doors are very elegant. Easy access to all drawers .. internal space is great with spacious shelves. Love the pocket handles . The icemaker works quite well for our needs now .. ice plus feature is a great function for this refrigerator. Overall so far we love this purchase and a great price.

The drawer pulls are at the bottom of the drawers instead of the top which can be annoying, and the drawers are too deep, more drawers that are shallower would be preferred.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased on April 7th, 2022. We love the ice maker and the space in the freezer and the refrigerator. It has lots of space and shelves. It also has lots of storage inside the door. There is room for large pizza boxes and large dishes for leftovers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the look of this side-by-side. I've had it a month and really like it. The freezer has glass shelves which makes storing items easier than the wire shelves in my previous freezer. Because the ice maker is slender, there is more room for storing items. There is only one shelf on the freezer door, but there is more than ample space inside the freezer, so you don't miss any extra shelves. The refrigerator has easy to set controls for temperature and the ice maker. The light is in the front, and it seems easier to see items on the shelves. The shelves on the door are large and hold a considerable amount of items. The only negative I have is that the shelves are not easy to remove. When you open the door, the inside edge of the door is even with the inside edge of the refrigerator. You have to tilt the shelf at a 45 degree angle to lift it up out of the slot it rests on and then try to remove it. When pulling the shelf out, you will hit the edge of the refrigerator door. It takes some maneuvering to remove it, and you still nick the edge of the door slightly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: I bought this fridge because 1) I liked the large capacity and how the shelves, drawers, and door shelves maximize that capacity. 2) I wanted glass shelves in the freezer (not racks). 3) I liked how the drawers rolled smoothly. I'm still happy with all of these features after having it for 8 months! These were my non-negotiables and why I would probably buy it again despite all of the things I don't like about it, because these three features were best in its class of all the side-by-side fridges we looked at in store. I also like the digital features like the alert when the door has been open too long, the digital display panel, etc. Cons: Water and Ice Dispenser: 1) My biggest issue with this fridge is that our water comes out of the water dispenser warm. You can fill maybe one small glass with cold water and then the water comes out warm, and the initial "cold" water really isn't even that cold. 2) I don't like how there's one button to click through for all of the options. Why can't each of the options just have it's own button? 3) The cubed and crushed ice don't seem too different from each other- cubed comes out basically crushed. 4) The ice bin is small and difficult to get ice out of if you don't go through the dispenser. 5) I prefer to grip the cup and use my knuckles to press the lever (because it feels more sanitary than putting the lip of the cup that I've been drinking out of or against the lever for a refill) but in order to get ice, you have to push the lever with the cup, and even then it still usually spits out bits of ice onto the floor, even when cubed is selected. Design: 6) I thought I wouldn't like how low the handle is, but I've actually been fine with that, but I hate how it collects crumbs and is hard to clean. 7)Not lots of options for adjusting shelf height. 8)Why can't the pulls for the drawers be at the top of the drawer so you don't have to stoop to the floor to pull out the bottom drawer 9) The manufacturer's packaging left a sticker line going vertically along the front right panel and I can't get it off even with cleaner. Function: 10) I wish it would alert you in some way when the filter needs to be changed, instead of having to remember to check the control panel periodically. 11) It says it has door cooling, but we noticed our salsa got moldy when it hadn't been in the fridge that long (we had it in the door).

So far only drawback, it is hard for me (I have a hard time bending over) reach the drawers. Also, the door shelves are not thick enough. I have already broken the bottom of one, and it collapsed on another one. Waiting for the new ones to come.
