Yellow Dragon Fruit, 1.75 lbs.

I am so grateful Sam's Club has this fruit and they sell it at a very good price. Yellow dragon fruit is sweet and good for your health.

Usually this fruit is fresh. This last time I purchases the dragon fruit 2 of the three were over ripe and within 2 days spoiled.

Not so fresh

This fruit is super sweet. Easy to peel and a great delight to eat. Probably need to consider not overwhelmed by the sugar intake!

Last a little longer than a week

I’m a middle aged man. I love trying any new produce I come across. How do I know if I don’t like it if I’ve never tried it?  I know what dragon fruit is, I’ve just never seen it fresh for sale before. You could imagine my excitement when my local Sam’s had it for a reasonable price. A good purchase for a curious consumer….?  Well, let me tell you about it. 
A ripe dragon fruit is a wonderful thing. It slices in half easily, you can spoon out the insides easier than scooping out an avocado. Had I known what would happen after ingestion, I should have had a abogado on retainer. I missed a day of work on account of this tasty fruit. You know why?  This is natures laxative!  Ingesting one tasty fruit for breakfast turned my day into a colonoscopy prep. Why does no one talk about this?!?!  Somehow fruit gets a free pass. If this were a supplement it’d be behind the pharmacy counter with a pamphlet and a priest.  Come on Sam. I thought I was a Plus member. How could you sell this without warning of the consequences. I don’t think I did anything wrong, but you did. I just trusted something yellow and cheerful that had villain energy. You got me this time, but I’ll not do it again. Well, not for at least 10 years - when my next colonoscopy prep is due. 
Please heed my warning.

Love yellow dragon fruit. Great price compared to other stores. Large, fresh, and delicious. Just cut, scoop, and eat. Great relief for constipation side effects with weight loss meds.
