I have a 1997 Chevy S-10 that has over 275,000 miles and I have been using Pennzoil since I bought the truck new with 8 miles on it. The truck runs great and I push it hard. If that isn't protection of the engine, then I don't know what is. I live in WV and I would not hesitate to get in my truck and take it anywhere.

I've used different brands, and different types, of oil-specifically for high mileage-when I used Pennzoil for the 1st time, it seemed like the car was more calm. Like a person, the car seemed to be thankful and ran smoother. After that, I never tried any other brand.

When I drop the drain plug around 3,000 miles to change, it still almost golden. And on top of that the truck really does run quieter and smoother. Hats off to the folks that developed this stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just started using this stuff for my 5.4 triton in my Ford. Before this I had a weird knocking noise I think from the hydraulic lifters. After switching the noise is either a)gone or b)so quiet im not worried about it. Great stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used many different brands of High Mileage Oil. I'm old school I change my oil myself. At oil changes I noticed that other brands of oil felt like canned lubricant oil. Towards the end of the oil change cycle my oil pressure would not be slightly lower than usual. When I used Pennzoil High Mileage Oil it felt the same coming out of the oil drain plug as it did when I poured it into the crank case. The oil pressure was never affected with Pennzoil. My brand of oil is Pennzoil simple as that. Always has been, always will be.
