the real sugar DR. Pepper is close to what i remember, if you increase the DR. Pepper flavoring a bit so it don't taste so watered down, and decrease the cane sugar to about 14 grams per bottle i think you'll hit it. include the classic 10-2-4 on the bottle.

So this soda is my husbands go to soda (when he drinks soda) so for him it’s the best. For me I have belly issue and this soda does not help that fact lol ( i think it’s cuz it has prune juice ) so for me this soda is a 3 but for my hubby it’s a 10 lol

You must acquire a taste for Dr Pepper. Most people either love or hate it. I love it, my husband hates it. Some people I have talked to about Dr Pepper compare it to Root Beer. It does have similar tastes but different also. I don't know the correct way to describe it, except if you like Root Beer you might like Dr Pepper .

The 23 flavors really make this stand out on its own and I tend to prefer a soda that has more bite than sweetness (ie Barqs root beer over A&W) so this gives me energy to work a long shift but doesn’t have me forcing the second half of the bottle down like some sodas do.

My family uses Dr Pepper for just about anything! It's our #1 household drink not to mention we also use it in many of our recipes, especially marinades. I make frozen pops for my daughter with Dr Pepper. Friends and family know that if I bring food to potlucks, it most likely has a splash or two of Dr Pepper mixed in somehow, it's just that amazing!
