My controller along with 3 others still looks brand new but are useless because of the stick drift and it can't be repaired unless you send it in to Sony. Which cost $21 just to ship for warranty repair. No warranty or proof of purchase and it's not worth fixing.

These controllers really have gotten pricier from generation to generation and a lot more sophisticated, maybe unnecessarily so. Having to update the controller with the console this gen seems like asking a bit much. But when a console is designed for artistic aesthetics more than practical function, what can you expect. I'm not really sure the controllers are any better made, but with each generation Sony's controllers have a little more heft to them. I know kids seem to love the new tactile triggers. But I just regard the feature as a battery waster and turn it off, like the vibration function. It doesn't seem to add anything of value in either realism or gaming enhancement, unless the game unnecessarily limits vibration as the only clue prompt or something, rather than an audible cue. If only Sony would focus less on gimmicks and more on quality, their controllers might not need replacing as often. Or they need to make a more bare-boned version without all the unnecessary fluff that's all too often inconsistently used by developers anyway, if used at all. That said PS5 controller sticks seem to hold up a little longer than the PS4 did. Or maybe my nephews just aren't as hard on them as they used to be. Our white controller that came with the console started sticking or free-walking a little after 6 months. I found a few tricks to fixing it online, but wanted another backup just in case it gets worse. And Black Friday is the only time to buy a PS5 controller, if you can wait. The top of this blue controller has an almost pearlescent blue finish, which looks much nicer than previous generations or the black and white versions for the PS5. Of course, in a dark room, it doesn't really matter how nice it looks.

Haven’t had to long and the joy sticky already have drift lag and my buttons on it are cracked in half the controller that I bought with it works just fine and has even been used more and I don’t see why this controller has drift stick and has cracked buttons if It’s barley used

This is a great accompany to the current controller to the one that comes with PS5. Exactly the same except that it comes in Black. I got it from Walmart to make sure it was genuine and not a knockoff from another company. This is the legit device and works perfectly out of the box. Setting up the controller works great. I had no issues and using it daily, it works great.

The color is very vibrant and pretty. Feels nice in your hands. However, the controller has already started to drift slightly after less than 2 months. A little disappointed as I purchased this to replace a year old controller that was already drifting.

The controller is perfect and to get it at the price I scored on it made it even more perfect. I should have gotten more than one, but didn’t follow my gut. Ewwww. Now I went back to get another and felt the price difference for sure. lol. Great deal!

I was playing with the controller that came with the ps5 for a while(2 weeks) and in the middle of a battlle royale my jump button would completely stop working ever since i got this controller ive also noticed change in my skill in a good way im not saying this controller makes you better at gaming but it boosted my confidence knowing i have a reliable controller When i hop in to games. And anybody who plays battle royale games knows that the more confident you are the better chance youll have at winning so yeah great controller i recommend it.

And don't have too much to say just work very well i like the color make good contrast with my console i have one white included with the console and now buy the black now we can play multiplayer. It's sony brand no side drift yet normal / casual player. COD,Battlefield, F1,Soccer and football.

Worked great for 5 months. Now it has super bad drift, so I’m going to have to return it…since it’s been less than a year, even though I paid for 2 year coverage I have to go thru PlayStation and pay OUT OF MY OWN POCKET to send it back. I sure thought since I bought the protection plan I wouldn’t have to do that. I’m not sure if it’s just PlayStation making junk controllers (this is the 3rd controller) within 2 years…or if this was just a bad seller. The other 2 controllers went bad a little over a year. 5 months is insane for a $70 controller. It’s not user inflicted either, because my 17 year old daughter doesn’t beat on her controller…

very cute. My daughter is all into everything pink and when we opened it i didnt realize how the buttons would actually look. The clear pink parts on the buttons just make it exactly what she wanted very girly. If your kid or yourself like pink definatly buy. very happy with the controller
