L and R sticks both immediately started drifting, almost out of the box, worse quality than the original SKU/the controllers that launched with the console

The controller looks to be new but I was surprised when I noticed my brand new PS5 controller had its seal cut. My first thought was did I pay practically $80 for a refurbished controller.

Bought in February 2024 now it’s October 2024 and controller is joystick drifting to the point it’s unusable. Basically another 70 dollar paperweight from wal mart instead of a controller
