Best store bought hummus

Hummus is always something I try to buy in warmer weather for its nutrition profile and easy accessibility for a quick healthy snack or meal. Problem is, most I try are overly vinegary/acidic and garlicky, making it tough to get down, and leaving those who eat it with dragon breath. (Sabra, you are one of many offenders.) I decided to try the Sam's Member's Mark version this year, and was pleasantly surprised. This is a smooth hummus, no dragon breath, and completely enjoyable. I am happy to have found and tried it.

I bought this before seeing the reviews. I love humus on crackers, fresh veggies, etc. This hummus is delicious. I love red bell pepper and you can taste it in here. Probably my new favorite. I've tried many brands of hummus but this is fantastic. Love the large size too. A much better bargain that the small sizes in the supermarket for the same price.

Roasted red pepper hummus is typically my favorite among the choices. Unfortunately, this barely tastes like hummus, much less red pepper hummus. It's bland and has very little flavor. You'd be hard pressed to call it roasted red pepper but for the red blop of peppers on top and the name on the label. I do not recommend this unless you find mayo too spicy.

As soon as I scooped it, I could tell that this hummus was watered down. I checked the label and sure enough water was the 2nd ingredient on the list. FYI, Sabra's hummus has water as the 4th ingredient. I find it disgusting that Member's Mark is trying to fool customers with this watered down hummus. I want my money back!
