The monitor shelves collapsed in first week with the weight of 1 monitor per shelf. The shelves separated from desk leaving damage.

Unstable and Poorly Made

The carbon fiber finish gives the desk a very cool, sleek, sexy look. Assembly was easy and only took about 30 minutes. The desk feels very sturdy. You can set it up for dual monitors on the shelf, or a shelf for one monitor and a laptop stand. These options are sturdy but can also lift off with no taking anything apart for easy switching back and forth as your daily needs require. I use the dual shelf setup, and my 15 inch laptop fits perfectly in the back underneath the shelves. My mouse doesnt work well directly on the desk, but a mousepad easily fixes that. Overall, this desk looks great and is one of the best deals I could find for a good looking desk with a big shelf area.
