Good salad

Call me crazy, but this just tastes like simple syrup and beans.  I'm all for a little sweetener, but 1/2 cup of sugar in a jar this size might be just a tad excessive.  Hard to pick out any flavor other than SWEET.  Couldn't even eat them after dousing them with black pepper.

Love these beans and the great prices.

I like the five bean salad but I add salt, garlic and ginger powder to make it better. The original taste is too vinegary and sweet for me.

Great mixed bean salad.  We put it on sslads, cottage cheese and right out of the jar as a side dish!

Delicious way to get your fiber and protein. The beans are made with the right balance of vinegar and sugar. Eat as a side dish or on a green salad.

Great Side Dish

Way too sweet, was not expecting this at all. I was expecting a more vinegar based brine, but should have checked the label before to see how much sugar was in it! It's almost like a dessert…odd.

Too sweet

I've been buying these for years and will continue.   I enjoy using it as a topping on my salad instead of salad dressing.   I put a little cottage cheese on top of my salad and cover that with several spoonfuls, with the liquid,  on top of the cottage cheese.   For me it tastes great.
