I have several of the red and grey ratchet strap sets that Sam's sold in the past and have been completely satisfied with them. However I mistakenly assumed that the Cat branded straps would be of comparable quality, but I sorely disappointed. The Cat branded ratchets are quite inferior to the former sets. I will not be purchasing any more of the Cat branded straps.

I have been using this about a year, maybe 4 or 5 times in that span to tie down fairly light weight items, lumber, etc, on a small 6x10 trailer. First, I did not realize 2 of these were cams until I opened the package. Whatever, they are kind of useless but okay. But the ties themselves seemed pretty good. However, one of them has already seized up so it is almost impossible to undo the strap without some significant effort. This now makes a 2 minute job of taking one of these off into a 10 minute job. Colossal waste of time! DO NOT BUY. Get a decent brand, porter cable, firestone, heck even the higher end harbor freight's perform better than this. GARBAGE.

Thought I was getting four ratchets since it indicates "4 pc" in the title. Nope, only two. Will be returning.

Straps are great, heavy duty. I read the description and looked at the pics, so I actually knew what I was getting though. Apparently several people in the comments didn't.
