Smoothie time

I have enjoyed these strawberries for several years. However, the last two bags taste and smell of some kind of chemical, possibly chlorine related. I returned one bag and hoped that it was just one-bag incident. Unfortunately, the next bag is not suitable for eating either. The information on the bag is as follows: Product of Mexico 278457 AN#1 Best if used by April 12, 2024 Needless to say, I am very disappointed that such product passed an inspection and it is deemed suitable for consumption.

I used to extoll the virtues of these strawberries as they looked fresh, and red, and tasted fantastic. I make a smoothie daily, and I’ve been horribly disappointed in the last 3 bags. About 1/4 of the bag is unripe, visibly dry, and overall nasty. I am dumbfounded at the 360 turn these strawberries have taken. Please have someone do a serious quality control check at the plant. I can’t recommend them at this time.

I seriously just looked these up again to make sure they weren't sweetened. They aren't, but so sweet! Great buy!

These strawberries did not have any taste whatsoever. Eventually after trying a few several different times I took them to the trash.

I love my slushies and much more you can do with these.
