I'VE HAD 3 SETS ON MY ...

I'VE HAD 3 SETS ON MY VEHICLE AND ALL HAVE EXCEEDED 65,000 MI. I AM IN SALES, AND DRIVE QUITE A BIT. I'VE WORKED IN NORTHERN NEVADA FOR 10 YEARS WITH EXTREME ROAD CONDITIONS. THESE TIRES ARE THE ONLY ONES I WOULD BUY AND RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

A Great Tire

I have a 1999 Dodge ram 2500 truck that is 6,000 pounds. And have had the LTX A/T2 tires for around 2,000 miles now. They offer a very smooth ride, and have a good stopping distance. I took them hunting for a week and they gave me great traction on the gravel and light mud. When on steep hills I was able to ride in 2WD without spinning them. I think these are great on/off road tires and I like the look of them. And are warrantied for 60,000 Miles! While on other tires I have only gotten 30,000 miles off of them. So let's see how this works out.

Amazing Tire

I have a 2006 Ford F150 FX4 and just purchased a full set of these tires. I must say they are amazing in the snow and in the rain. They ride very nice for being a more meaty tire. I would deff. buy these tires again when they need to be replaced again. GREAT job michelin!

I will buy these tires again!

These are the first Michelin tires I have owned. I deliver mail on a rural route and these tires are on my 2011 Jeep Wrangler RHD, I put on 130 miles a day, 110 alone on the mail route. I travel mostly gravel roads with some paved. The ride is great, being a 10 ply they are not rough and I have been impressed with the traction on snow and ice as I start and stop 328 times a day at mailboxes. I will buy these again!

I would recommed Michelin

In the past I have had at least 6 sets of Michelin tires, I would recommend these to anyone. This year (2012) I have bought 3 sets of Michelin's for myself. 1 set for a friend and within next couple of weeks I will buy my son a set of Mechelin's for my son. In the past 50 yrs I have a lot of good tires. I find myself content , expicially with this pituclar dealer.

Most durable tire

I work in Landfill pipeline so I spend as much time driving through mud and waste as I do pulling trailers on the highway. First experience, tires came stock on 2019 GMC 2500. In the bed I carried 100gal fuel cell and a full stocked tool box, the AT/2's lasted around 40k miles, during that time the road noise was very low and I only patched 2 tires. My company replaced those tires with a set of Geolanders, I could not hear the radio over the road noise. Second experience: 2020 Chevy 2500 LT, job box in the bed with roughly 500lbs of tools, I replaced 1 tire at 17k miles due to spinning and catching rebar. After that situation I used 4x4 even on dry dirt or gravel if the top few inches were loose. I have a 14k lbs flatbed trailer that I also pull loaded. I currently have 69.5k miles on the original tires without ever rotating the tires, I have not had to plug any tires. I travel from the Midwest to the gulf states in all weather types, the main thing you have to do to make these tires last is know their abilities and adjust your driving in those conditions. Front tires. 6-7/32 Rear tires. 5/32 Cons: traction when accelerating or braking is not great in slick conditions even with wet blacktop. Pros: Durable tire construction all the way around. Low road noise. Handles temperature fluctuations well when pulling trailers.

Best tire ever!

I put these on my 2006 Silverado 1500 when the factory tires needed replacement at just under 60k miles. They lasted 106k miles, so when i needed a new set I bought them again. Another 96k later when I traded that truck in they still had many miles left. My New 2500hd come with them...thrilled!

great tires

I HAVE A FORD F350 AND PULL A 10,000 LB TRAILER ABOUT 75% OF THE TIME. THE FIRST SET OF LTX AT2'S WENT FOR 70,000 MILES AND STILL HAD 3/32NDS TREAD LEFT ON THEM WHEN I REPLACED THEM GOING INTO WINTER. THESE ARE THE BEST TIRES I HAVE OWNED AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. TRACTION IS EXCELLENT AND ROAD NOISE IS MINIMAL.

Tire wear not up to par

Tires ride and handle great; HOWEVER, at 25,000 miles they are almost at the treadwear bars. This is unfortunate. The old LTX gave great tire wear, this new tire just doesn't live up to expectations. I do a good mix of on and off-road driving. These are the factory tires on my Tundra.

Great tire, will buy more

I have a set of these on a 2002 2500HD Chevrolet and drive VERY agressively. I also rotate the tires every 5K when I change the oil and so far, I have put about 30K on the tires. Right now, I am at 9/32 tread life left and even with agressive driving, will probably get another 20K out of the tires!!! That may not sound great, but I recover friends who venture too far offroad, corner like its a porshe and burnout like its a top fuel dragster and I make good use of my 500hp 6.0 4x4. This is a great ON road tire and suprisingly, didn't leave me stuck in real bad mud but I wouldn't buy these for going off-road. Driving through a pasture while towing- fine. Beyond that, VERY quiet tire. Ride is a little stiff, but thats it!
