Sixth set

Installing the sixth set tomorrow on my GMC Sierra 2500 HD 4X4 (3rd one). Every set has been a 100 K, and in two cases 100K + performer. I work these tires hard, on road and off. Rotation, and PSI maintenance allow the design to perform. Never had a balance issue, this tire performs. Good on all surfaces for me.

Increased my fuel eff. ...

Increased my fuel eff. about 2 mpg. on my 2500 Dodge. the 17/32 of tread shows no measureable amount of wear at 15k miles. These AT2's cost less than two other brands. Perfectly balanced, no bumps or vibrations, holds their air pressure. Brother-in-law purchased two sets of AT2's on my recommedation, his Ford 250 and GMC denali.

Michelin LTX AT2 - Awesome Tires

I wanted to post some feedback on my Michelin LTX AT2 tires. I have these tires on my 2006 Dodge Ram Megacab 2500 Heavy Duty Diesel Pick-up. I have just reached a milestone of having 90,000 miles on these tires. I use the truck for towing, offroad beach driving and lots of highway miles. The tires have held up great, I maintained proper rotation and air pressure. What a great tire, and tire life for a heavy duty truck. The tires remained quiet and had even wear throughout the life of the tire. Never had a flat or a disapointment with these tires.

A Tire That Works!

I’ve had these tires on my F350 truck since new in 2019. I only use the Michelin AT2 in the summer. All my driving is on pavement and occasionally tow my 36 Ft RV. The Michelin AT2 grip the pavement extremely well on the roads in the interior of B.C. Best of all they offer a very smooth and quiet ride. I highly recommend these tires for any 1 Ton Truck. Thanks Michelin!!

Fast wearing

I was happy with the soft quiet ride of these tires but 25,000 miles later they will not pass my next inspection. These tires were rotated every 5,000 miles at the dealership. The performance and handling was fine, My issue is the 60,000 mile thing is quite far off. I've purchased other tires that lasted well over 60K for less money. I would not leave a poor rating on tire wear if my vehicle was not new and aligned getting frequent tire rotations. Some people leave bad reviews even though their old poorly aligned junker is at fault for tire eating and that's not the way I would act.

how long can a good thing last

we have a everyday driver its a 97 gmc sierra extended cab pickup. our first set of Michelins lasted 6 years and had some 60000 miles plus on them. we are very happy with the performance of the Michelin tire and purchased a second set for our pickup. we never had a flat or any other problems. we choose Michelin due to the high quality of the tire and trouble free miles. our experience with other tires is that they wear out below the advertised mileage. we also recommend Michelin to our children when they need new tires, we feel they are that safe to do so.

go get 'em

I've had tires for over 2 years now. They are wearing good on F-150. Tires have good style appearance and make p/u look sharp. Tires seem to have worn evenly with a few rotations. Tires handle great in rain and snow; p/u feels very firm and solid on road. Tires are little noisy; leaves room for improvement.

RETURNED TO MICHELIN FOR WEAR

I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500, diesel 4x4 with240,000 miles on it. I bought it new with Michelin tires good for 70K. They lasted as advertised so I bought another set. At143KI bought another set. At 212,000 I bought another brand with 65k warranty, I just replaced those inferior tires with Michelin X-LT2's, and will continue to purchase Michelin tires. They hold up, perform well in all conditions and way cheaper in the long run, shopped and priced and found them $300.00 cheaper than the one set of inferior tires. No more changing brands for me the inferior tires did not last 30,000 miles.

these tires suck

I bought a 2016 Truck and these tires came stock and currently has 21000 miles on it. I was driving on a very well maintained, highly used dirt road with an ATV in the bed of the truck. My rear right tire went flat and the tire shredded before I realized what had happened and was able to stop. It appeared to me that it was not just a puncture in the tread, but that the tread ripped, and then sidewall fell apart. The next day the left rear tire was flat. I will never again use Michelin Tires. Glad this did not occur while towing my trailer.
