I feel bad about giving 3 stars because there are a lot of pros- they don't shrink much at all, they are a nice size that hangs over bun when fully cooked, cooks nice and even, you can throw them on frozen, and they are very easy to pull apart. Also, they were good to have during shut in with meat shortage. Would also work for a very large picnic. con and it's a big one in my house -The issue I have is that they don't have much flavor at all. I initially logged in here to see what other ingredients were in it. I was thinking soy would be an ingredient just because it has very little to no flavor. It's all meat with spices added. We will finish up the box but they won't be a repeat purchase. 3 stars because of flavor but I liked everything else about it.

This is the first time we have purchased this item. The burgers tasted ok, though a little on the thin/small side after cooking. The biggest issue were the small bits of bone we found in multiple patties. And, since the cost of visiting the dentist trumps easy to prepare burger patties, we will not be purchasing this product again.

I purchased a case of beef patties for $35.00. I put a dozen patties on my gas grill. In 3 minutes, I had a huge grease fire. We had to use our fire extinguisher to put the fire out. These burgers have too much fat and are not meant to be grill on a gas grilled. I tried cooking the rest of the burgers in the house in a pan. There was so much fat in the burgers that the pan was full of grease. No one could eat this product. These burgers are the worst and should be taken off the market. Prior to me grilling these burgers, I grilled 40 pounds of chicken on the same gill. There was no grease fire. The grill was brushed and clean prior to me putting the burgers on the grill. I have been managing in he culinary industry for over 25 years and have never seen beef patties like this. Diffently disappointed with this product. Will never purchase again. Sams, you may want to discontinue these beef patties. I lost $ 35.00. Unhappy member!

I purchased hamburger patties from a different source. That source only had 32 patties and it cost a little bit more so I went on ahead and purchased these. I know hamburger shrinks when you cook them but these things...I usually season the patties before I bake them and when I take them out of the oven there's a funny looking white crystallized substance over the burger. I have to scrape this off every time I bake them and they come out the size of a junior whopper. I also have a hard time trying to get them unstuck. By the time I get them unstuck it has dramatically cooled off. So I'm on the fence about these burgers. Do I get more for my buck that will come out less than what I thought or do I pay more for less and actually get a decent size burger? Like I said I'm iffy on whether I should buy these again.

The price of these burgers is awesome, can't really beat it for 40 patties. We bought 2 boxes and grilled them the night before a large gathering. By the time we were done I had emptied the grease trap on my grill 3 times and had yet to empty it once more the next day. These burgers do shrink down quite a bit, not like other posts I have read. After smelling the burgers for as long as it took to cook them...I don't not want to see another burger for a while.

These patties make the best homemade burgers, period. These are much better than making your own patties, and the burgers we make with these patties are better than anything we get from most restaurants these days. 10/10, can't recommend these enough!

Don't really care for the slight mealy texture, but I'm willing to put up with it because the flavor is so good. Not sure what the seasonings are in these, but they're good cooked without ANYTHING - I don't add anything at all to them. Took one star off for the soft texture, but otherwise a real bargain. I'll be keeping these in my freezer forever.

I don't know what the negative reviewers are buying or if the product has been changed, but these were perfect for our Labor Day cookout. We served 60+ people. Obviously, they aren't as thick as a homemade burger, but the taste was fantastic. They held together and were firm and meaty. We had tried another brand from a local store, but these beat them, hands down. Maybe the grilling process is the key. Charcoal Grill/Smoker. We even craved them after the party. so we cooked more. :-)

I recently bought a box of these burgers and served them to guests at a cookout last month. Guests loved them. We're having another cookout next weekend and I'm buying these again. Someone did mention the flare-ups in another review. I agree; lots of flare-ups which is why I'm not giving them five stars.
