Customer reviews for Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack - 225/55R17 97V Tire forNice Tires
After driving on these tires for a few thousand miles now, I can attest to their quiet ride and the handling seems sure footed and if the tire gets anywhere near their 80K lifespan, I'll be happy. The one big negative, and I have read this on other reviews, is the reduction in fuel economy and with the cost of gas these days, every mile makes a difference. With my previous tires, Bridgestone Turenzas that come with the Camry, I was able t get 38-39 MPG on the highway, with the new QuietRide, I am down to 35-36 MPG after a long road trip to Georgia. We'll see how it progresses after the tires wear a little more.
This is one quiet Tire!
I was needing a OEM replacement tires on my 2018 Hyundai Kona Limited. It came with some Goodyear all seasons. They were all right but they were noisy and horrible in rainy conditions. I decided I wanted a premium tire that was smooth and most importantly quiet. That is exactly what I got with the Bridgestone Turanza Quiettrack. So much so that I now turn my stereo down no less than four notches and for the first time since buying this car I have peace and quiet in my cabin. On top of being quiet they look good, track perfectly, corner well and overall give you a great sense of confidence whilst driving. No complaints whatsoever. Was worth the additional money especially considering the 80,000 mile tread life.
Great tire for daily driver
So on my son's ole '05 Buick Lacrosse HS/college car the tires have been terrific. Really nice ride, pretty quiet and darn good in snow. I did notice the installer mounted two with 'inside' facing outside. Wonder if that's an issue? Would buy these again for family/daily driver.
The Agony and Ecstasy
The tire dealers did everything for me to buy more services than I needed. The dealer could not have been nicer with this tire purchase. The right tire for my driving with the right price and the right service around my time. Saratoga Honda NY did everything RIGHT!
Quiet and Comfortable Ride
Would have to say that I am more than happy with Quiettrack. I drive strictly highway miles at 55 to 70mph everyday for a round trip of 170 miles per day. The traction is excellent and does very well in wet or snow conditions. As the tire came into its 65000 mile age it became less effective in snow and was a safety hazard. So new tires went on. This is my second set on this car and I would recommend to anyone. A little pricey , but you get what you pay for in a tire.
Great tire when new, wore out fast
The tread pattern is very good, and has lead to great traction on dry pavement as well as REALLY good wet weather traction too. That being said, for being an 80,000 mile tire, they have worn down INCREDIBLY fast! At under 20,000 miles my fronts are at 4/32" and rears are 5-6/32". The tire brand new doesn't come with much tread depth to start, which is likely the problem. But it is a problem that Bridgestone needs to resolve. For this expensive of a tire, this should not be happening. I thought when they in were new that maybe the compound would be super strong and not wear down quickly since the tread depth was so low, but that is not the case. It's a very fast wearing tire.

Poor tread wear
These were the OEM tires on my Camry. at 30,000 miles I started noticing a lot of road noise, the tires were beginning to saw-edge. They were wiped out at 37,000 miles. The dealership aligned the car and the caster/camber was out which does effect saw-edge so I bought another set of the OEM tires. I got to 35,000 miles on this second set and they began to saw-edge. At 47,000 they were needing replaced due to normal wear and the saw-edge was loud. Again, the dealership aligned the car and the caster/camber was out a bit. Again, replaced with the same OEM. I now have 25,000 miles on this set and they are saw-edging with noise. I took the car into the dealership because I thought this was an alignment issue, the alignment was nearly perfect which right away shifted my blame from the car to the tires (yeah, it took 3 sets for me to figure it out.) I'm a work commuter and 95% of my driving is 65 mph highway and 70 mph interstate. I drive like a grandpa, any corners I do take I take slow and the tires and car are treated with kid gloves. Now I have to live with the road noise until it's time for a new set. Not a chance in this world or another that I'll buy this tire again. Further, I'll buy a tire from a different manufacturer. I'll add one last thing, the Toyota service department manager would not blame the car and he would not blame the tire, he basically bailed on any blame of anything. I suspect since Toyota has a contract with Bridgestone to supply a lot of tires there is probably a policy of not passing blame onto a tire that Toyota provides.

Wonderful
I was a bit concerned when I went to pick up my car. I did not realize these were lower profile tires. I was wrong though! These tires are so quiet. 10/10. It's truly insane how the tire brand and tire type can change the road sound and ride of the vehicle. The vehicle feels like it handles the road much better as well. They also came with a nice warranty and life expectancy, and a rebate!!
Defective tires
I have been a loyal Firestone customer for over twenty years. Bought a new Camry and changed out tires to quiet tracks at about 2000 miles due to all the positive reviews and the fact that this was one of Bridgestones premium tires and had an 80k warranty. also got lifetime rotation and balance and lifetime alignment. At highway speeds car had significant vibration . The dealer did a Special road force test and had to replace two of the tires. Please note that I am very particular and will be bringing car back shortly for another road force test as I am still experiencing some small vibration at highway speeds. As I am sure that these tires are made by computer controlled machines this breakdown of your quality control practices is very disappointing and will be taken into consideration for future tire purchases. Also you may want to query your recent warranty claims to see if you have a generic problem.

Excellent Tire for Ride,Noise, Performance
I've had the tires on my 2014 Prius model 3 for only about a month, but am highly impressed by their great ride comfort and very low noise. I am particularly very pleased with their excellent performance in heavy rain. Even at 65 mph in wet conditions, there is no hydroplaning in straight/normal highway conditions. Technically, they are not meant for a hybrid, because they are not low rolling resistance tires (LRR). At manufacturer psi, I immediately feel the change in ride (nice soft ride) but a sticky feel, and see lower fuel performance over multiple tank fills when compared to LRR tires. However, I deliberately chose these tires because I was tired of the constant loud road noise of my LRR tires, and wanted to see how these 'normal' higher end tires performed. I still get okay mileage for me (range of low to mid 40's mpg per trip) with mostly highway driving on a 64 mile round trip commute, but the ride is immaculate and noise is considerably less which is more of a priority to me than the high mileage of LRR. Looking at the tread, you can see the deep groves that help give the tire it's excellent wet traction. My wife has a 2014 Prius V, but I would not recommend these for the V version because it is a heavier car with the same engine as normal Prius, which means your mpg would likely go down to low-to-high 30's, which would not be acceptable for that car. Overall, an excellent tire if your priorities are nice soft quiet ride with excellent handling in normal and wet conditions. Again, mine are on a Prius, so I understand the mileage issue, but it's not a priority for me. If it were, I would need to stick with LRR tires to get the typical 50-60 mpg of a Prius.
