[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Central American bolillo rolls are great. They are perfect for any lunch or dinner. They are fresh and butter on them and a quick warm in the oven makes them perfect. I will be getting more of these in the future.

We used to love these rolls for sandwiches, etc - but that was before they started to mold within 4 days. The first time I assumed it was something I had done wrong... Maybe they were in the wrong place on the counter, had I picked up my Sam’s order before or after stopping at the grocery store, maybe I had grabbed a pack with an old date, etc... even though the other bakery products were just fine for many days beyond. The 2nd time I returned them, which is something that most people would probably do, except that I usually only leave the house 2, maybe 3 times a month. This last time I did have to return to Sam’s due to mixed messages on a prescription, but I forgot the rolls. The problem isn’t necessarily the few dollars that the rolls cost (although who has money to burn?), but the fact that the quality is just too unreliable. If I have to go elsewhere to purchase a similar item, how badly do I need the other items I would usually get here? Can I hold off ‘till the next regularly scheduled time? I hope your experience is different. (Sams club in Round Rock TX)

They would work well for saucy sandwiches because they don't fall apart. They taste especially good toasted!

Perfect size to make a hot sandwich. There are 18 pc in the package, so it’s enough for a small party . I’m using them in many different ways.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bolillo bread is so deliciously good it’s a perfect amount of chewiness. It’s fresh nice and soft on the inside. It has a great labor easily packaged in a bag to restore away and the value is amazing. Only seven dollars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All I can say is about these Central American Bolillo Rolls is yummy to my tummy 😋. I think they taste great with soups or sandwiches. It has a light baked color with no toast mark. These rolls are so delicious.

So, I bought some of these the other day, didn't really take that close of a look. I have been buying these for awhile now. Put them in the freezer when I got home. Open them up today to make my husband a sandwich. Imagine my surprise when I grabbed one that was around 40% smaller than the last ones I bought. I will not be buying again. Thats the hidden inflation in so many things. Same price, same amount, smaller item. Shame on you Sam's.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bolillos tasted great, not much different than mexican-style bolillos but smaller. I found them great for breakfast "tortas" and splitting them in half with some butter and toasted on a comal lol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Central American style bolillo roll has a similar flavor at the Mexican bolillo, we usually enjoy it in a Mexican carne asada torta or with ham, vegetables and cheese like a sandwich- torta, so good! The packing maintains the bolillo fresh. Price it’s not bad at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Mexican mom, I grew up eating bolillos all the time, with hot chocolate, with a cup of tea, my mom used to make great tortas (sandwiches) for all our family, now that I have kids I still have that tradition. Sam’s Club has the most delicious bolillos ever, they came in a huge bag with nice and warm bread, and for the price!! It is a great deal.
