This island is solid and very functional, and was easy to assemble. I bought an extra shelf to increase storage space which makes it even more useful. I've rated this product with 4 stars rather than 5 because the top easily scratches / sustains damage - you can't really use it as a work surface by itself - you need a cutting board, sheet pan, or other similar item to protect the integrity and finish of the top. Wish I'd known that before using a pastry / bench knife to divide my pretzel dough. Three other things, first, there is a bit of noise from the shelves when you're working on the top (the items on the shelves sort of rattle when you apply pressure to the top when you are, for example, kneading dough; this isn't a structural issue - just an auditory aesthetic one); second, the hooks for hanging utensils/tools/towels on either end are useless because they easily become dislodged when, for example, removing a towel or tool that has been hung upon said hook; and third, the drawers are a bit stiff - you have to apply a decent amount of pressure to get them to close fully. All of this being said, I'm relatively happy with my purchase and would give it 7/10.

Counter top level. Very solid and usable. We use for coffee makers. Big drawers that slide easily good design, and well worth the money.

Great heavy duty island cart! Instructions were easy to follow and made putting it together pretty simple. Very sturdy and nicely engineered. Big, beefy and well made - Love it! Might have to get another one for my grilling station…

This piece is attractive and a solid piece of furniture. I put it together myself with no problem, it took me about 3-4 hours. The directions are clear and easy to understand. Very happy with this purchase.

I am very impressed with the quality and value of this product. While it was time consuming to put together, the instructions and parts identification were well defined. I would highly recommend this.
