Good sharp cheddar, with that in mind is a little harder to slice, somewhat crumbly texture compared to milder cheddar but is a normal result in sharper cheeses.

The Tillamook Whole Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese does not have the same extra sharp cheddar taste that I liked so much as it used to. It tastes like regular sharp cheddar, though it's still good. I heard a new type of rennet is now used in most all of the cheeses. Maybe this is what changed its taste?

The best extra sharp cheese I have ever used! I tried this cheese in casseroles, quesadillas, on chili, on salads and it is great! I love the firmness, texture, smoothness, color (white), flavor, smell… I recommend it highly at 5 stars. If you have not had extra sharp cheese, I recommend you try this one. The price is well worth this cheese and for the amount of 2 Lbs! I just bought my 2nd one in 2 weeks!

I love Tillamook! I always buy this block, for me, it lasts for weeks! I use it for literally everything! The extra sharp cheddar is spectacular, compared to other cheeses, and believe me, I've tried them all. This cheese never disappoints. Definately worth the extra cost foe the big block. If you are a Cheese lover, keto, or a cheddar is best person, THIS is YOUR cheese!

This cheese is on the higher end price-wise but decided to try it once and it’s SO good that my family has been buying it ever since. It’s got a creamy texture and melts better than other cheddars. The extra sharp is good but we really love the regular sharp except that they’re always sold out! Lol

When the cheese I was using was not available any longer, I had to find a replacement. High quality extra sharp cheddar is not easy to find. Tried the Tillamook brand and liked it even better than what I was using before. Extremely satisfied and recommended! (The 2 lb. block block is the best price.)
