Unlike many companies, Tillamook doesn’t put any fillers or chemicals in their products. So, it is not just the taste, which I go back to decade after decade, to this cheese. As a PNW company, milk is sourced from cows that actually still graze in the lush green pastures of family farms. I have been eating this cheese since for nearly 7 decades (and was even happier when they began bringing other products to the market). Nope…I don’t work for them, but I’ve been to the cheese factory in Tillamook, OR, countless times beginning in 1958 with my parents and sister. It is a brand you can trust and the quality is shown each time I choose one more baby loaf.

This is the perfect brand if you like sharp cheddar and we do! Tastes great with/on meals, super rich and creamy. We keep this in stock at home, makes the perfect afternoon snack with fruit.

I always buy this cheese because it's about the best that I have come across here in America, I just wish there was somewhere that sold British Cheddar at a reasonable price, and also Cornish pasties and meat pies like they sell in the UK. Also British "Back Bacon" (NOT IRISH) would be very much appreciated, as would more in the way of the good old british sausages, which are world famous for taste and quality.

I'm a stickler for cheeses. I was given this once at a party and I can no longer eat mild cheddar. This and normal sharp are going to make you melt and go to cheese heaven. It does melt very well, no difference. Its a bit stronger flavored but not like a blue cheese. Pairs superb with "board" items. This can also be brand specific! This is by far the top brand for best flowers ever!

I love the Tillamook 32 oz. Cheese blocks. It’s always a tough decision choosing which variety to purchase. The Whole Extra Sharp Cheddar (Aged 15 months) is a great all around cheese to keep on hand. Very versatile and works well on salads, soups, burgers, casseroles, appetizers, etc.

Any Tillamook cheese tastes fantastic it is made by a real cheese maker company. cCeating a smooth textured flavorful cheese, use in Grilled cheese Sandwiches or Melt in tacos, burritos, beef or chicken casseroles, cheeseburgers, nachos, pastas, grilled paninis w/ham, chicken or a Canadian bacon cheese wrap. Cheese is full of needed calcium, I love the taste by itself or on a chacuterie board, on top melted w/sourdough bread. The mild, medium, sharp, or extra sharp all have their own taste richness that compliments just about any food your eating.,

This is great cheese. If you know the brand and this cheese, then this review is basically - "Surprise! you can get it at Walmart." If you don't know this cheese, you should try it. The sharp and the extra sharp are the best versions of the product. The sharp and extra sharp, being aged I guess, break apart a bit more when slicing, where as the mild seems to manage better sliced. All of them are very good. It seems like it has been harder to find in the last few years.

I first tried this cheese at my daughters and now I will buy no other cheese. It’s very good and holds up very well in the refrigerator.

this is a great flavorful cheese, fairly dry,cheese white or yellow, mostly buying block type cheese now for sliced and or shred our own..avoiding as mush processing as possible

It's pretty good, but it ain't like the Canadian black label white cheddar y'all used to sell bring that back ! It's super good !
