Poor fuel economy!

I purchased these tires based on all the high ratings they are receiving. The first issue for me was the load rating being 103 vs 99 and higher speed rating really changes how harsh the vehicle rides. The biggest issue was poor fuel mileage! I track my fuel economy and these tires cut it down between 3 to 5 miles per gallon! Driving them at the recommended tire pressure for the vehicle resulted in the poorest fuel mileage. Adjusting tire pressure higher helped fuel economy slightly and resulted in a harsh ride. After 4000 miles I purchased different tires from a competitor. Very dissatisfied!

Briguy, we are sorry to hear that the fuel efficiency did not meet your expectations. When new tires are installed on a vehicle the fuel efficiency will typically experience an initial drop compared with the worn tires that were removed. Over the life of a set of tires fuel savings will normally become evident.

The Tire to Buy !

Wow what a difference ! I own a Cadillac 2014 CTS 3.6l and have just had these tyres fitted. Having previously had the Michelin Sport tires fitted which I was very pleased with and completed over 30000 miles without losing any air or issues. These new Crossclimate 2 tyres are rated at 2X the mileage of my previous tyres and I was expecting a firmer ride. Much to my surprise these tyres ride beautifully with a softer ride and good handling. These tyres have great Michelin support and despite their price I do believe these are good value.

Best of All - always

Cross Climate 2 are perfect for me. We get lots of rain where I live and CC2 does an excellent job of divesting the water and holding me steady and tight to the road surface. Since the first day of driving a car too many years ago, I have always had Michelins. So, 10 Gold Stars.**********

Has been fantastic during the Winter

I bought these a month ago and they have been great in the snow and on dry pavement. The grip it has during turns is fantastic. I personally like the look it gives my vehicle. Took long road trips over the Holidays and our family felt safe the entire time. Haven't had them for summer yet so we will see. As of now we love the CrossClimate 2 Michelin Tires.

Tired of the "Tire Mountain" in my garage

Third car I have switched to CC2s instead of having 2 sets of tires for each car. Although arguably not as good as dedicated snow tires in deep snow, these tires have superior wet/slush traction. Resist hydroplaning better than any tire I've used in 35+ years of driving. If the snow is "too deep" for these, maybe you should have stayed home. Super quiet, smooth, and fuel mileage is on par with "2 season" tires. Better fuel mileage than dedicated snows. Only down side is they tend to pick up/hold a lot of stones in the tread. You'll want some stone protection on any exposed metal body parts directly behind the wheels.

Great performing tire with FAR too much noise

Great tire at first, but as more miles are placed on them they get very noisy. I have them on 2 vehicles currently and each has about 20,000 miles on the tires. The tread is still in great shape. They have been rotated and balanced. The noise is to the point where I am thinking about replacing the tires with a lot of life left on them otherwise.

CF, sorry you are experiencing this. Increasing noise could be from an irregular wear pattern developing on the tires. Regardless, we'd like to speak to your local Michelin retailer (preferably the selling dealer) while you are there, so that we can get an inspection of the tires and decide on next steps.

All weather capabilities and reliability!

I bought four CrossClimate2 replacement tires this year for my daughter’s 2015 Beetle. She’s a daily driver on the busy 401 Toronto highway to and from work. Their all weather capabilities and reliability were already proven over the past couple of years on my 2013 Volvo XC90. This vehicle is now on its third set of Michelin tires.

My new Michelin Cross Climate tires

I had to purchase new tires for my Nissan Leaf EV, I decided to go with the New Cross Climate II tire..Most of the reviews were positive. They are a smooth riding tire with very little road noise. Great traction. Great handling. very please with the ride..

Cannot get rid of vibration at 70+ MPH.

I bought these set of tires after having the original CrossClimate tires on my e-Golf. I had them installed by a certified Michelin dealer, balanced, and did an alignment. Unfortunately, these tires have a slight vibration at 70+ MPH. I took the car back to the original place where I had them installed and they confirmed that the balancing was correct. I then took it to a second independent tire store to have them double check the balancing with Road Force equipment and they also said it was correct. I ended up using the Michelin 60-day Satisfaction Guarantee to get them replaced with a set of Michelin Sport Pilot A/S.
