I will Always Choose Michelin!

My first set of steel belted Michelin Tires came on my Lincoln Continental Mark 4. Many years into their use, the car was slowly loosing air on a return trip from Maine on the Garden State Parkway with my wife and 4 children. When the service station put the car up on a lift, I found a huge bolt in the tire, which i thought should have ruined it I was just loosing air while keeping my family safe. I vowed then to never buy any other brand of tire than Michelin from then on, and I have never been sorry for that decision. Thank you!

Very happy with the Primacy

Bought the 18" Primacy to replace original tires on our Lexus RX350. I specifically selected 18" tires for this car because I want a smooth, cushioned ride. If you want low profile tires, buy a sports car and expect to replace them every 25k. The Primacy is quiet with a great ride. It performs well in all conditions especially on the interstate. We are at about 30k miles and they look great. Just had them rotated. Really happy with them.

Much Better than O.E. MXM4

These tires perform better on my 2017 Acura RDX than the OE Michelin MXM4s. I purchased spec 235/60R18/XL 107V to replace the SL OE tires. I was concerned about the ride being too harsh with the XL rating for the new tires but, they actually ride much better (less steering wheel feedback from road imperfections) than the OEs. Road noise, braking, cornering and traction are also improved. Maria in the Michelin Consumer Care Department was great getting answers to my questions.

Michelin is and always has been the best tires by far

Very good tires beautiful ride very quiet and very smooth, my issue is the 80 dollar gift card crap, just give the rebate right then and there during the purchase, not this ridiculous process of getting a gift care. That would steer my toward another manufacture.

Good tires

This is the second time I have used the Primacy Tour A/S on my car. They are quiet, comfortable, and stable. They hold air pressure quite well. They are not very durable. The set I replaced lasted 30 K miles, even though they are rated for 45 K miles.

Decent summer performance, quiet, but not good in snow

These were the OEM tires on my 2025 Genesis GV70 EV. They were fine in dry weather and rain, but with a little snow and cold in Michigan, they had no grip at all and felt downright dangerous, so I had them replaced at 2000 miles with the CrossClimate 2 tires, which have been much better.

Not great

These came stock on our 2025 Hyundai Tucson. They made the ride really stiff, and hard. We put on some Yokohama YKC CTX tires like we had on our Kia. The difference is amazing! I don't know how Michelin gets such great ratings all the time. Maybe since those came with the car they weren't actual Michelin primacy tires or something.

We’re sorry to hear the Primacy Tour A/S tires did not meet your ride comfort expectations on your Hyundai Tucson. New tires can feel firmer at first and typically require a short break in period as the tread surface wears in and the tires settle into normal performance. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. If we can be of assistance in the future, please don't hesitate to contact our Consumer Care team a call at 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

Avoid buying

This tire is just not durable. I have replaced two in the space of three months. Both times were a sidewall damage during normal driving on a city street. I have driven these same streets on Pirelli tires and have no problems. They also underperform on snow and ice. Even with an Audi Quattro drivetrain, the tires slide in slush, snow, or on ice.

Merely acceptable summer performance, terrible in snow

These Michelin Primacy Tour A/S tires came factory-installed on my 2025 Chevy Blazer RS, and they are completely unsafe for "real" Canadian winter conditions, especially in Alberta. In dry weather they’re merely acceptable, but the moment temperatures dropped and snow appeared, they became outright dangerous. I had to drive over three hours in snowy conditions (Not whiteout conditions, just simply "winter" driving with some snow fall) with 3 passengers and could not safely exceed 70 km/h in a 110 km/h zone because the vehicle was constantly sliding and nearly fishtailing, even with light steering, gentle acceleration, and plenty of space. Traction was essentially nonexistent. The car never felt planted or predictable until the last bit of the drive where I was finally able to safely accelerate to the appropriate highway speed without feeling like I was putting my passengers in danger — there was A LOT of white-knuckle driving. For a tire marketed as “All-Season” and sold factory-equipped on a vehicle in Canada, this performance is honestly embarrassing. These tires provide zero confidence, zero winter grip, and zero margin for error once conditions are anything less than dry. If you live anywhere that sees snow, ice, or cold temperatures, avoid these tires entirely. I will be replacing them immediately, and will likely be going back to the CrossClimate2s

Poor Durability - Big Hassle

We purchased a new 2022 Kia Telluride equipped with OEM Michelin tires, and unfortunately, our experience has not met the quality we’ve come to expect from the brand. One tire has had a slow leak since day one, requiring air every 3–4 weeks. Despite multiple inspections by the dealership and tire shops — including remounting and leak checks — no visible issue has been found, and the problem persists. Additionally, we were informed that the tires showed excessive wear with less than 20,000 miles on them, which is far below what we anticipated from Michelin. As longtime customers who have trusted Michelin for durability and performance, this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. We’re hoping Michelin will stand behind their product and help resolve this under warranty.
