comfortable, but eventually brittle and ugly

Bought these several years ago and they are not "lifetime" chairs. For some reason, the squirrels love to gnaw on these, and sparks from the campfire mark them quickly. Over time, UV seems to make the plastic brittle. Similarly priced poly lumber chairs are much more durable.

Very high quality chairs with low quality screws

Really happy with these chairs and assume they will last forever and be much more maintenance free than wood or painted surfaces. Assembly was not bad but I am above average mechanically. The only improvement than should be made is the screws, they are soft. So is the metal hex head tools that come with it. The screw heads round out very easily and so does the wrench. I used a drill and my own bit but had to be very careful to keep it lined up straight and keep from having any screw on a bind. One wrong move and the screw strips out and becomes useless. Also, it would be helpful if there was more of a point on the screw to help find the hole. The pre-drilled holes here lined up well. Be sure to only screw in each screw part way until the whole chair is assembled, then go back and tighten them all. Just be very care with the screws at all time. Very high quality chairs with very low quality screws

Great chair I weight 285 very solid

Bought chair about a year ago, pros, tuff ,comfortable and strong I found assembly to be a lot easier if I left screws slightly lose until complete then tightened them up all the way,Plus parts fit is more even.Cons just checked mine for spring kept outside, color is a little uneven but is not bad.Just rained forgive water on chair in pics.Going to buy a second one.

Good chair for the price, but assembly can be tricky

My wife and I are very good at this assembly thing, and we found this chair (we assembled 3) to be moderately difficult on that front. Some pieces were hard to line up, so we used kabob skewers to help with alignment. Game changer! One of the armrests may be warped front to back, and several of the armrests do not sit flush with the rear support. Defeats the purpose of a support, right? One chair has a rear leg that is not flat with the ground. The entire weight of the right-rear corner is supported by about an inch of leg.

Manufacturing flaw.

I bought this chair a week ago and assembled it today. The assembly was hard at the end because holes on the right arm pieces were drilled out of alignment so I could not attach the arm without drilling some new holes. When assembled, it's very comfortable.

Beautiful and comfortable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this chair and planned to put it outside but it was too cold so we decided to just leave it in the living room until it warmed up. Well, now I'm thinking we need to plan on getting a couple of new ones to put outside!! This chair is beautiful and we have had so many compliments on it! It looks like real wood (our kids are convinced it is), the grey is subtle and nice, and it is very sturdy. But more than that, it is super comfortable. For part my job I have to spend hours at a time working on a computer from home. My back usually gets sore pretty quickly and I have to take several breaks. I decided to use this chair the other day while I did my work and I didn't even realize that 4 hours had passed and my back wasn't even sore! That was definitely an unexpected bonus! The building instructions were very simple to follow and took me about an hour to build by myself. I can't wait to use this outside (warm summer nights with a book are calling my name!), and see how it holds up. Great product!

Had a broken part on the seat

From my initial contact with the telephone representative and all the way through our contact I was treated with respect and felt that I was heard and helped. Even though I ended up getting the entire seat bottom, I was able to within seconds get the broken part replaced when it arrived. The telephone person, helped make arrangements for a good price, shipping, and I was kept up to date on delivery. Thank You!

Great chair

We've had these chairs for a few months now and have really enjoyed them! I'm 5'2" and my husband is 6'5" and we both feel that these are comfortable and sturdy! I put these together myself and they each took about 10-15 minutes to put together! Love the teal color too!

poor quality - slats break easily

Loved the look of these chairs but shortly after beginning to use them the seat slats began breaking - and we are all thin and do not have children climbing on the chairs!!! Very disappointed to have them break so easily! We bought 4 of these chairs!!!
